Drove in today around 8:15a with coffee and mentally prepared to wait about 30-45 mins since that was my previous experience with my other car, but was very surprised when he told me that it'll only take 10 mins. I was back on the road by 8:30a. $50 for a smog check was probably the deal of the year... Lol I paid around $70 for a smog check and waited about an hour and a half for the entire process in El Cerrito when I drove an older Acura TL. read more

The smog technician, Hugo Acosta, was very rude and unprofessional. My cath converter previously stolen was correctly replaced by my car dealer but Hugo claimed that the car dealer did not replace the cath converter. So I went back to the car dealer and told them what Hugo told me. I was so embarassed at the car dealership when they lifted the car and showed the right parts installed. When I returned to Hugo, he would not even look at the parts and picture of the converter. He said he could not test the car and told me to go to the State instaed. After paying $60, he would not do a retest. I went to another smog test center and my car passed. I would not recommend anyone coming to this smog test center, ever! read more

Pretty sure I got scammed. I had to get a re test done. Everytime I went back for the re test he ssid the machine is broken. I'm pretty sure he wouldnt be there working if the only machine they got wasnt working. So pretty sure he thinks I'm dumb or something. So if you are gonna need a re test dont hold your breathe. Kinda fucked up to be honest. Now I have to pay another 80 bucks somewhere to get a smog done. Not a very honest business. Probably great for people who knows they are gonna pass it first go. Lousy service. I had the engine light on, but didn't know that if an engine light is on it will always fail smog. Nevertheless, the guy there still did the smog check knowing that it was going to fail. My mechanic that fixed the engine light told me that any honest smog check place would of not tested the vehicle--not this place. On top of it all I still paid $55 with a fail. Even though they offer a retest a bit cheaper I did not go back--I rather paid full price at a honest smog check place then go back here ever again! read more

No appointment we drove in and with only one person ahead of us we were in and out quick. Passed the inspection and smog and he submitted it electronicly and we were on our way.
