Coming here for the first time didn't know what to expect. I ordered an asada burrito in my quest to find the best burrito in Pasco. I was shocked how expensive it was. $12 for a burrito is above average of $9. I had high expectations because of this. Now the burrito, it was good, but not the best. Fabulously good food, very modest price! Dropped in just before closing on a snowy New Year's Day. Very limited vegetarian selection on the menu, but the friendly, pleasant waitperson offered some alternatives. Their menu had a wide variety of dishes, many unfamiliar to us (cactus?? ). Service was fast, very tasty food, hot salsa had delicious flavor. Their very fresh tortillas were outstanding. We asked about guacamole, they had none--said the avocados were bad. Thank you for not making it with bad ingredients! I am trying to figure out how to get back. Only trouble is, I live in New England. Great place for breakfast! The fresh made orange juice was the icing on the cake, I could drink them all day! I had plans on menudo or pazole, yet wound up with huevos con chorizo, which was excellent. My cohort got the caldo de res & it disappeared, tells me a lot! Been informed I'd been a point of interest being the only white guy in the place, always a good sign! Next time soup for me, eggs were amazing and so filling, hitting up the pazole next time! This was a very good Mexican restaurant. My husband ordered the lunch special, 3 chicken enchiladas, and I ordered the Enchiladas Blanca with beef. My dish came with chicken instead of beef, which I didn't even notice until one of my last bites! It was so delicious that I didn't feel the need to point the mistake out to our waiter. I am a sucker for things they are limited edition, small batch quantities, or only available for xyz days. Case and point: menudo, only available Fri Sat Sunday. Hence I dragged my fat ass to one of my favorite Mexican joints on Sat to STUDY while enjoying a bomb hefty breakfast burrito and some menudo. Some like coffee shops and libraries to get stuff done, I like my tacos with cabeza while I study la boca of the downstairs if you catch my drift (hint: I'm on OBGYN service right now) What is menudo? This delicious red chili pepper based soup with tripas! Aka tripe aka beef stomach. A heart warming for these chilly Fall days. The price is right. The bachata beats are in the background. So, so many Mexican restaurants in this area, it's difficult to decide on which one to pick. Well, for us, this is our go-to place unless it's shrimp tacos, otherwise, look no further. We've had all their tacos, menudo, chilequilas, quesadillas and more. Their one standout? Hands down, their homemade flour tortillas. So freaking good. Dip it in everything or just eat it plain. I've been on the hunt for the best breakfast burrito in the Tri-Cites for the last five days. Straight to the point here. Inside of the restaurant is nice and clean despite outward appearances. I ordered a steak and egg burrito. It was cooked and ready to go in no time. The burrito itself was good. Ingredients were fresh. Just didn't have anything that set it apart from ordinary. It was going to be a 3 star. The homemade tortillas and then using them to fry their own chips rose the review to a 4. I had 2 tacos for an appetizer that were very good but I'm sure having a hard time finding anywhere with spicy chorizo. The carne asada wasn't. It wasn't skirt steak or even flank steak. It could have been a very thin rib steak. Rib does not make good asada. Especially when cooked to long. This was dry and chewy. The Modelo Negra saved the whole situation. read more

The strangest thing though, when I walked in the first time I was meet with an angry stare from the owner he proceded to put up signs saying( may refuse service to anyone) I went in a second time about 4 months later. Excellent! Excellent! is all I can say about the caldo de res. The broth... a supremely delicious beefy elixir. Really simple clean rich beef flavor. Nice medley of veggies ...carrot, potato, cabbage, chayote, zucchini. The meat... beef shank and neck bones ...fall off the bone tender. Served with a little plate of condiments ...minced onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime ... to spice up the soup to your liking. Also have to mention the basket of house made tortillas .. so darn good. I ordered a large soup. And it's large. Let me tell ya ... it's gonna fill you up! I ordered two cabeza tacos on the side just to try out out their taco game. And again the deliver!
