I ordered an Adobada burrito plate. Comes with sour cream and guacamole- $16.08 Thought i would get a burrito with beans and rice INSIDE! Plus a side of rice and beans Instead I got a burrito full of just meat. In that case I would have orders tacos. They also give you about half of cup of rice and maybe a one fourth of beans. My kids ordered asada tacos, the meat was very chewy. My husband liked their chimichanga. The rice and beans are good, as well as their horchata. They also charge extra for asada and they have a to go fee. In my opinion it was not worth the price. read more

This place is amazing and affordable. After growing up in TC and finding out my favorite Casa Chapala is no longer in business. We thought we'd try this place just driving through town and it was amazing, so much so that we decided to come back through town three days later and go again. We now have a great (fast food) spot when we land in Pasco. 5 min from the airport and clean, fresh mexican food. So here's the story. We landed at 1220pm. w three kids that hadn't eaten anything all morning. So we need something quick and preferably better than fast food. Quick Yelp search turns this place up. I phone order 4 breakfast burritos (chorizo, bacon, saugage, and cheese). We get there, and everything is ready to go. The real kicker was the self-serve salsa bar. I asked one of the staff what they are known for (expecting them to say the burritos), and she said their grilled chix. I was not expecting much from the small town restaurant but when I asked the server to recommend what's the best thing to eat here and she told me something and I didn't understand and I said hey, if you like it, I wanted it and I was not disappointed. It was a dish with grilled chicken I think, sautéed onions and mushrooms over rice and a red sauce, which I believe it had mole. Oh my God it was so delicious and it was a huge plate. I had to share with my coworker and we had two orders of the handmade tortillas we both enjoy this great meal. Just one star. Yup. Here's why: I went there for the first time tonight. I ordered a casne asssada burrito to go. Not what I got. Basically a full bean burrito with about 4 nuggets of steak, too much rice, & a small, small spoonful of guacamole. Humm... that's not a carne asada burrito. Here's a tip on how this should be done. 1. The burrito should be full of carne that is well drenched in lime juce. 2. No beans. 3. No rice. 4. Add fresh pico throughout. 5. Add fresh guacamole throughout. Done. Add this to the menu and see how sales jump. read more

Second chances mean everything. I went back for a second try placing an online order for pickup. After waiting for 25 minutes I recieved the order only to find out it was missing items (after I got home). I called the restaurant and explained the situation. I was told to return and pick up the missing items. The employee handling the order was patient and apologetic. She gave us a free dessert and several sincere apologies. Excellent customer service. Also...they have $1 TACO HAPPY HOUR with $1 tacos everyday from 2p-5p and after 8p. Note, the happy hour specials don't show up on the online orders so you will have to call your order in to get the special. Tacos are great and the salsa is amazing! Yesterday, I walked in to pick up my order. When we were waiting for our food. I noticed a person next to the "salsa station" grabbing some salsa on some containers. This person grabbed the container and LICKED ALL THE SALSA OUT OF THE LITTLE CONTAINER! Staff seemed not noticed anything. I was shocked, this guys proceeded to then, lick his fingers and grab all the utensils! I notified staffed about the nasty stuff this guy was doing. The guy just did a "discomfort face". With so many Mexican restaurants to choose from in Pasco, you wonder which one to choose, right? Well, I'll help you out and say El Sazon! This place offers fresh and tasty food. It was so good that we came here two nights in a row. The camarones tostada was super fresh and perfectly seasoned. Besides chopped up pieces of shrimp, they added julienned red onions, chopped mangoes, tomatoes and sliced avocado. It was not too salty nor was the shrimp mushy. It was DELICIOUS! The menudo was chock full of tripe. They'll ask you at the counter if you want to add either pig's feet or hominy. Personally, I'm not a fan of hominy so I passed but not on the pig's feet. It was tender and huge. I ordered it both nights. He ordered the enchiladas and flautas plate with the rice and beans. Man, you can't go wrong with anything you order. The beef was sooooo tender! A lot of Mexican restaurants have a tendency to dry out their steaks. Not these folks. Without a doubt, when we're back in Pasco, we will come back! I already miss the restaurant. read more

I ordered a regular burrito for $7.50, added $2 in extra toppings. Guacamole and asada. Customer service was impatient, just pushing me on, rushing the order one word at a time without care. The burrito itself was flavorless, wrapped in a flour tortilla that wasn't fresh and felt tough. It was mainly beans and rice, until I chewed on the asada steak, which wasn't seasoned strongly enough. I was relieved when I found the onion, cilantro, and guacamole in the middle, because I finally got a note of flavor. Decent prices but lacking in the flavor department on the tacos. Pollo and birria was just bland, asada was alright but had too much gristle. Agua fresca was great, so there's a plus. Seemed not to care about cleaning up the dining room, as three tables sat with dirty dishes the entire time I was there around 3:45 to 4:15 in the afternoon. I can't possibly be the first person to state how SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPEALADOCIOUS this place is!!! I've been here three times now - wishing sooner!! They have the best lengua mulitas (two small tortillas grilled to slightly crisp perfection housing your meat of choice, cheese and handmade/homemade guacamole!)... its almost like I wanna cry at each bite!! HOLY PIZZOLI!!!! I haven't tried the menudo yet ... but I did see three employees on their break in the corner of the restaurant each lovingly eating their own bowl of it.
