I hadn't had loroco before (the flower buds of a vine, tasting similar to broccoli) but it was great. Next was a big selection of pan dulces to take home for my family to sample. The woman behind the counter was kind and patient, helping me to choose a dozen or so different breads, all of which turned out to be excellent. Besitos, conchas, the crispy, peppery pan de nudos were a few I remember. Anything left over, have it with your coffee the next morning, you will thank me.
