We are visiting from Chicago and wanted someplace to eat. This place is affordable, clean, and the service was top notch. The food was HUGE, prepare to take some home or be like me, finish it and that's the entire meal for the day lol. I read a couple of reviews about the place and it didn't disappoint. Five stars again and again. Thank you for hosting us.

No estamos comiendo gratis, estamos pagando. Después de varias oportunidades, ya no pienso volver a ordenar de este lugar. Estoy muy decepcionada, es un lugar extremadamente poco profesional. Le sugiero a la gente que lo piense dos veces antes de pedir comida de este restaurante.

Delicious! Come with an appetite! Typical small business ambiance. Friendly and accommodating service.

Excellent bean and cheese pupusas, really tasted authentic. I recommend washing them down with the horchata. The place was humming on a Saturday afternoon and the service was friendly and helpful.

Located in a strip mall, this small neighborhood restaurant offers some fresh and delicious food. My son loved that his fruit punch had real pieces of fruit and that it wasn't artificial red. The pupusas were so delicious. We had the cheese and chicharrón ones. Yum! Our entrees arrived hot and the servings were plentiful. You will not leave hungry. My only recommendation to the owners is to give place a "refresh" (new paint job, blinds and the such). That would have made the experience over the top.

The best place in town to get Pupusas. Been coming here for years. It's always busy. But you get your food fast.

Great food but it's best if you pick up in person to make sure your order is correct.

I must admit, I know next to nothing about Salvadoran and Honduran sweet breads and pastries ("pan…read moredulces"), but that was no problem when I visited the lovely Lela's Bakery in Central Islip, because everything I saw looked delicious, and everything I tried WAS delicious, even if I am not sure what they were called. I was hungry for lunch, so to start, I had some tasty bean and loroco pupusas, washed down with a cup of horchata. I hadn't had loroco before (the flower buds of a vine, tasting similar to broccoli) but it was great. Next was a big selection of pan dulces to take home for my family to sample. The woman behind the counter was kind and patient, helping me to choose a dozen or so different breads, all of which turned out to be excellent. Besitos, conchas, the crispy, peppery pan de nudos were a few I remember. Anything left over, have it with your coffee the next morning, you will thank me.

Here from out of town, happened to be within walking distance and glad I was! Authentic Salvadorian…read morepupusas, yummy pan dulces. It was busy with Spanish-speaking patrons so I took that to be a good sign. If you don't speak Spanish, it would be helpful to know what you want going in. Don't bother with all the fast food in the area, this is fast and real, and good!
