Great Mexican food with quick service. They're great at hosting large parties. The servers were very friendly and fast. They have a great chips and salsa that are brought to the table. The chips were crispy and thick and the salsa was fresh and spicy. My enchiladas were tasty! Fresh sauces and guacamole. My strawberry margarita was good but very sweet and not very strong.

Food and service was so great! The homemade sangria was to die for and our boys of course loved the fried ice cream! Can't say I was a huge fan of the white queso for chips. Pretty thin. My fajita quesadilla was perfectly seasoned and will get again next time in town. We were in town for a youth hockey tournament and love the convenience of this right in same parking lot as our hotel!

A solid stop for Mexican food with a huge take-out contingent and plenty of interior seating and parking. Was in the middle of a difficult day, and glad that I found this place because they did their job well and without issue. I am a bit spoiled after many years of living in Southern California and visiting many Caribbean countries, so I might suggest that it is a good level for an Iowa Mexican restaurant but just a good place to have a meal, whether it is business or family. I had the Carne asada plate and it was good, as the guacamole was just average with chips that disappointed me. The server (Chivo) was a bit intrusive at times, but it might have been me in the midst of a lot of chaos. I'll come back when my world is not in such an uproar.

Back again! As always, we were seated right away and greeted promptly for drinks. We never had to ask for a refill, food was fast and fresh. Bonus points for the ISU game streaming non every TV!

I love the bread options their store offers also. The quesabirrias tacos are a favorite go to! They also provide lime wedges, radish slices, roasted peppers, and roasted onion with the tacos. The fresh, crisp cilantro is the "cherry" on top lol. Service: Every time we go in there, we're greeted with a smile! All of the employees are really friendly, patient, and helpful. They do their best to explain something on the menu if you're not fluent in Spanish/don't know what something is or consists of. They're very quick and efficient. Ambiance: A quaint, quiet store/restaurant full of delicious options and amazing smells. It's kept clean and tidy with medium noise pollution: there's typically a TV playing in the dining area or music playing throughout the space. The seating is cozy; more for 2-4 people at a table/booth, as opposed to large parties.

Took a little while for the food to come out but there was a line ahead of us. We perused the store in the meantime making note of the bakery items we'd be buying our next trip. We had the reinas pepiadas: really really tasty. I could see how some people are a little alienated by him, but also remember that he's there alone. You can go a little off the rails at places that have more people on staff to manage those kinds of patrons. When you walk in, you know that you can't push beyond what's offered and make special requests. There's carry out, dine in or drive through at this location and delivery, if you have DoorDash. Friendly staff. Lot parking. Good prices.
