This was not an exception. The food was VERY salty. We ordered Jamon Serrano pata negra but they told us they didn't have it. The garlic chicken was good but not authentic Spanish style. Overall we had a lot of fun, maybe the 1/2 liter Rioja carafe helped. The waiter was from Peru and really nice so the service was good. Wish the tapas were more authentic flavors.

I can only talk about the experience me and my partner had. The restaurant itself is nice and the hostess was really friendly. The menu looked pretty good too. I ordered calamari and my partner salmon. Both portions were huge disappointments, both looked weird, even repulsive. The calamari was swimming in brown goo, the salmon hidden under brown stuff, mostly nuts. The only taste in the calamari portion was of salt and chili. The salmon was tasteless. As said, this may well have been an off-night, but by the experience I had I can not recommend the place nor do I have any interest to give it a second try. There are just too many decent restaurants in the city, that do not disappoint.

After some delicious Portuguese wine a giant platter comes out with so much seafood. I was thinking a couple of filets of fish, not a huge seafood platter with different pieces of fish (swordfish, salmon, and a white fish that was so good but due to the language barrier will now always be a mystery fish), shrimps, clams, squid, octopus, potatoes and so much more. The photo really doesn't do it justice. It just looks like a giant mess, but I assure you it was one of our best meals on the entire 2 week trip and one we still talk about often. And yes, we got a little plate of salad before the platter came out. It was so much food and definitely a clean protein meal. Loved it and loved this place!

We got to try some new foods and had a great time. I loved the wine, hubby loved the calamari and tortilla, kids enjoyed the meatballs (also the orange ice cream and crème brûlée.)
