I love the queso and the chicken enchiladas verdes. I came here with my family for dinner, and Italy was our server. She was attentive, welcoming and gave us a great experience. We'll definitely be back!

El Chico has been around a long time doing Tex Mex meals. We stopped going to El Chico's but recently we rediscovered them. I like the way El Chico's make enchiladas that brings me back. This location in Pantego has look the same forever. They needs an update inside is a little run down. I like the enchiladas and the crunchy taco. I think the have one the best tacos. Order the Laredo plate to get this combination. Chips and salsa plus a margarita go good together with this meal. The food comes out very fast. Too fast need to slow down a bit. I did not get a chance to eat chips and salsa. The service is okay the young lady server was a little shy and standoffish.

Good food and drinks. Came around 2:30pm for drink specials and lunch to fill our bellies.

Great deals on drinks and food! I enjoyed a margarita on the rocks and a sweet tea and some tacos for a great lunch during happy hour.

If you are looking for good Tex-Mex with large portions and a great price tag, look no further. I highly recommend the Chimi combo and Cinco Enchiladas. The Chimi combo comes with a deep-fried chicken Chimi with a wine chipotle sauce(which is to die for) Definitely the best sauce I've at ay any TexMex restaurant, ever! It also comes with a grilled chicken fajita tostada( chalupa), an old-fashioned taco(puffy taco), and rice for $15.99. The Cinco Enchiladas come with 5 different Enchiladas: Avacado with a green Verde sauce, a cheese Enchilada with the wine chipotle sauce, a bean n cheese with Rachero sauce, a Chicken Enchilada with sour cream sauce and beef with a salsa sauce and rice and beans for $13.99. The rice and beans are OK, but if you add some of the complimentary salsa to it, it helps. Overall, for the price and good service, I give it 5 stars. The decor is also fun.

Always a fav in this city. You can walk right in, and you're immediately helped by a server to get seated or place a to-go order. The salsa has been the same great recipe for years, and that's why my family has love this place for generations. Used to go here as a kid after church, and now mine love it, too. The enchiladas are simple with spaces to choose from: carne, cheese, or sour cream. Refried beans are a staple when many places are no longer serving these. They accommodate with large groups by using a special room. The bar is small and cozy with plenty of TV area to watch games and such. They always have the lunch specials posted, so it's easy to choose without having to use a full menu. Be back soon. Bon appétit guys!

Something's changed .... The food at this restaurant isn't very good. Stick with the chips and hot sauce because the food is nasty

Friendly staff, good food, and you can smoke in the bar area. I'd give it 5 stars if they made their own tortillas.

I can't believe that I've never before visited Mariano's Hacienda Ranch. I've been missing out on some great Tex-Mex! I knew I was going to have a great meal when I got out of the car and smelled the Mesquite smoke from the grill that Mariano's uses. The food was awesome and delicious. My Margarita was tasty, with a very generous pour of Tequila. The two salsas, traditional and warm chipotle, were fresh, with vibrant flavors of tomatoes, chilies, onions, cilantro. The guacamole was the perfect combination of avacado, lime, salt, cilantro, and onion. Our queso came with dollops of sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, and Picadillo ground beef. My lovely Wife had 3 Shrimp en Brochette with a Sour Cream Chicken Enchilada. She was overjoyed with her flavorful Mariano's Hacienda Ranch Tex-Mex dinner! I was so very happy with my delicious Beef Fajitas (they used tender outside skirt steak) with onions and peppers, all grilled over Mesquite coals. The flavors of Mesquite permeated my fajitas with smoky, sweet goodness, while the marinated meat was grilled perfectly over high heat, to yield juicy, seared, melt-in-your-mouth, beef flavor. Service was friendly and professional. Our meal was relatively inexpensive, offering great value for the high quality of the very tasty Tex-Mex cuisine. I have a new favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in Arlington/North Texas. I offer my highest recommendation of Mariano's Hacienda Ranch in Arlington, Texas, at Hwy 360 & Majesty Drive. I can't wait to go back (especially for the Mesquite grilled Tex-Mex meals).

Unfortunately, I've visited twice now and the service has been practically nonexistent both times. The hostesses are always very welcoming, but once we get to the table, the experience completely changes. Both times, our servers acted like they would rather be doing anything else and that we were inconveniencing them just by being there. It's disappointing because the food and drinks are good enough to make me want to come back, but the service makes it hard to justify another visit.

I just hate how servers nowadays thinking they get 20% for doing nothing... wish that would change.
