Our final day in Valencia meant a late trip to the central old town. Sadly we were pretty late for lunch and arrived in the old town just as the market was closing. We walked round to find this secluded restaurant under the arches. Sadly the experience of our last night in Valencia was not great. The calameres was overcooked and the service was curt and slow though towards the end the service did get better. On the positive side there were great anchovies and the location was nice but overall it was a bit expensive for the food and poor service that left me feeling very underwhelmed. My recommendation, if you want great food is to skip the overpriced old town and head to the less tourist areas of the port and Rufassa. read more

Stop by after dinner. I wish we would have eaten here. Fantastico. The coffee and the tortilla espnola were great.
