The Texas toast on the BALT was good and had a nice exterior crunch. The sandwich was okay. For $14 I would have expected some thick sliced bacon. The fries are the winner here. They make hand cut fries that were very good. Crispy on the outside, with a lot of skin. We had the Cajun ranch dressing that was a great pairing.

We had plans to get dinner elsewhere. The food was pretty good and fried to the right amount...but our order took over 30 minutes to make. We had to visit the gals at the truck a few times to ask them if our order was done, or if we were forgotten. The sweet gal taking the orders also said that they would bring it out when it was ready, but we waited a solid 30 minutes and decided to ask. Their chips are great (I love the thicker tortilla chips!) and have a more solid crunch to them. The queso is on the lighter and thinner consistency side, which is always a refreshing texture. They definitely use a lighter cheese instead of a dark cheddar, as shown through the color of the queso. It's got a great flavor to it too without having any extra add-ins. A nice traditional queso! The fried pickles were average, but my bf is obsessed with pickles...so that was his impulse buy. Shared the First Class Half Mile Smashburger (supposed to be a smaller version but it's huge! Heck, everything really is bigger in Texas.) & Half Mile Fries (seasoned, thick, hand cut fries).
