So glad I finally got to come out and try them! The employees were so nice and explained everything & gave recommendations. The ice was AMAZING, almost if not everything is homemade, and boy can you tell. So fresh and flavorful. I will be back every chance I get!!! I also got the ticket to Hawaii but it was gone before I could even get a picture!!

My family and I have been wanting to go for the longest time. We finally got to stop by yesterday to try it. There was a bit of a wait but we didn't mind. We will be back again.

Hokulani Shave Ice is so good! This amazing food truck specialized in authentic Hawaiian shave ice which is nothing like raspas, or whatever other shave ice version we are used to in San Antonio. Something key about them is that they use real fruit on their shave ice, which makes everything taste 10x better. Because of this, their menu is constantly changing according to fruits which are in season, but I can assure you that anything you order will be delicious. During our last visit, we got the strawberry shave ice with strawberry ice cream and it was super yummy. Highly recommend following them on Instagram so you can check out their schedule. They are always moving around the city and do pop-ups in different businesses or events. Last but not least, the owner is always super friendly which makes the overall experience so much better.

First off I have to say this was absolutely the best shaved ice dessert I have ever had. The owners were simply wonderful, so friendly and down to earth. I had the Pina Colada and let me tell you it was amazing.

So glad we stopped by!! The shaved ice is soooo soft and the flavor combos are awesome. Clearly they are using real fruits in the syrups and many of the toppings are homemade too. We got Lilikoi (passion fruit) and coconut shaved ice, topped with passion fruit syrup, homemade coconut cream, coconut flakes and pineapple. AMAZING!! And a watermelon shaved ice. Both were so good!! The customer service was wonderful and they were all so kind serving customers :) will be back!!

They use real syrups from fruit so if you miss lilikoi, it's the real deal with even the seeds in the syrup. That said, warn ur kids that the lime and lemon are sour and not sweet like lemonade. We waited 45 min in 92F hot sun. 40 people were in line BEFORE it opened. I recommend trying on a weekday when it may not be so busy (fingers crossed). The shaved ice is not as fine like Matsumoto's, BUT they use all natural syrups. Someone also wished they carried mochi balls for a topping. Another recommended playing Hawaiian music outside while people waited ;) def a place to visit in the TX summer and def worth checking out instead of having to fly all the way to Hawaii!

Hōkūlani Shaved Ice is such a fun food truck and easily one of the best spots for a refreshing treat. The shaved ice itself is light, fluffy, and packed with flavor thanks to their wide range of syrups, ice cream add-ins, and creative toppings. They offer some really fun specials if you want to be surprised, but you can also build your own masterpiece if you like mixing and matching. I especially loved getting to try a new syrup flavor, pineapple with Li Hing Mui, it was sweet and tangy. Whether you're sticking to a classic combo or going adventurous, this is a place worth stopping by again and again.

I ordered the "First Class Ticket to Hawaii" shave iced and it was refreshing, fresh and delicious!! We did wait in line for a little over an hour but it was worth the wait. Make sure you bring your umbrellas and prepare to wait for the delicious shave ice. The staff were warm and welcoming...made me feel like family as they spoke to me and all their customers.

These are some of the absolute sweetest business owners in the greater San Antonio area. If you love great people, amazing service, and SHAVE ICE do yourself a favor and drive out to treat yourself ASAP!

Ever since our trip to Hawaii my wife has been following Hokulani and trying to get us to go. Well this past weekend we finally had a chance to try them out at the Pearl Farmers Market. We were there pretty early so avoided most of the crowds and had time to check out the menu without being in too many people's way. Ultimately my wife decided on guava limeade and strawberry with the coconut cream and I did strawberry and blueberry with the coconut cream. The staff was very friendly and made our order fast. Now if you didn't know there's a big difference between shave ice and a raspa/snow cone. These were by far the best shave ice we've had outside of Hawaii! The ice was super smooth, the flavors were excellent, and the coconut cream was the perfect addition. Would highly suggest you give Hokulani a try for a treat, especially while it's so hot out!

First time and won't be the last! Fast and friendly service. Luckily there wasn't a line when we went. Love the flavor options and how fluffy the ice was. It wasn't clumpy or weird, just the perfect consistency. It can be pricey depending on what you add, but I thought it was worth it.

Perfect summer treat... just gotta eat fast! You can tell the couple running this food truck love what they do and love food and people! Everything was clean and seems to be running well. I actually missed the Yelp Elite event by a day (life...) but I a special effort to track them down (schedule posted on their FB page) and get us some Hawaiian shaved ice! Cold, refreshing, satsifying, unique, and delicious! Don't be afraid to mix things up a little... Prices are great, so come back for more! We will be... Only negative, no shaded seating at the truck.

The cheese stretched far when I pulled it apart and the crust was very soft and thankfully not overcooked. It was a bit expensive but did give us 5 pieces. The sauce it came with was also very delicious and took some extra home for later. We also ordered fries on the side that were decent as well. I had ordered a San Antonio Arepas. It had grill chicken, avocado, Chipotle mayo and jalapeños. Overall it was alright but not really my favorite. The chicken tasted alright but felt like it was missing something. I liked the empanadas better with the shredded brisket but I also thought was missing something. I also ordered a drink called chichas which was a creamy milk drink with condensed milk and cinnamon.
