    Tres Tacos - Al Pastor
    Christina K.

Venturing in on a Saturday evening, we were greeted right away by Nick who was so welcoming and sat us right away. There's a mix of booths, low tables and booth/high tops. We chose a booth/high top so that we had a good view of the stage. We were told a live band would be starting just after 10:30pm. Shoutout to our server Melody who came to greet us not long after we were sat and she was so friendly. She pointed out some of her favorites on the menu and got our beverage order in and brought complimentary chips and salsa. We first ordered the Al Pastor Tres Tacos. There's both crunchy and tortilla style - if you like street taco tortilla style - go with Tres Tacos. I special requested some pineapple on the Al Pastor, but honestly the meat is so flavorful that even without the sweetness contrast of the pineapple, it is plenty juicy and delicious. The portion of meat is generous and Melody brought out a special Serrano salsa and Habanero salsa to accompany. Both have some good spice kick but was so fresh tasting and bursted with flavor. We then ordered Enchiladas Verdes which is a good portion size. The shredded chicken inside is super tender, great flavor and the verde sauce was again - awesome. The rice had good flavor and the beans had a nice consistency. All in all - excellent dish! I also appreciate that they leave a big bottle of water on the table!

Party of 10 (two kids included), Sunday brunch and we had a blast... This Mexican Fusion restaurant is fantastic. The decor is definitely IG friendly with the contemporary lighting, seating and Latino influenced decor. There's a full bar that greets you immediately upon entry. The open dining area has booth lined up against the wall and tables in the middle that can accommodate large parties like ours. There's a stage with a DJ playing great dance music during our visit that really brough out a party brunch vibe. Our servers were on point. They checked on us frequently and kept the alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks fresh. The kitchen kept our dishes coming as we ordered them. We ordered a ton of dishes family style so i was able to sample plenty. Watermelon Paleta - the watermelon was fresh. Churro Waffles - perfect amount of sweetness Chilaquiles - my favorite starter French Toast - kids loved it Chicken and Waffle Tacos - No cap, the best I've had in awhile. Chilaquiles Burger - Filling and a great fusion dish. Breakfast Burrito (steak) massive size, full of flavor NY Steak and Eggs - cooked perfectly to medium rare El Patron Taco - This massive taco bigger than my head is probably already on tiktok. This was absolutely delicious and could be shared by 2+ people. Well, I'm definitely coming back for brunch. I will also swing by to party on an evening night when the DJ is playing and look forward to sampling dinner plates. Cheers!

Aesthetics on point! Beautiful beautiful decor. Wishing I had the money to hire whoever designed the place because the decor is astounding! Easy to find and easily visible. Parking everywhere and no entrance fee. We went on Thursday night for a comedy show and dinner and arrived at 7:30 pm. The show didn't start until 9 so the place was empty with only a few tables occupied. We were seated immediately but they asked if we had reservations which we did but the place was empty so unsure why we we were asked. Anyway, the service was good. Our server was just gorgeous and exotic looking and continued to check on our table. I can people just coming there to see her. The young man helping her was outstanding. Very friendly and attentive. They have a cute little stage and at the time a musician was playing. He was great and gave off a good vibe. The comedy show great comedians and worth every minute, some much funnier than others buts that to be expected. When the show was over at 10 they had a live DJ for the after party and it seemed like the place was about to be litty. He started playing hip hop but we left right when the show ended so can't speak about genre. We ordered the steak burrito and shrimp fajitas. The fajitas were so delicious and perfectly seasoned and the rice top notch, very good and fresh. A little disappointed that we aren't able to mix the meats for fajitas and that's a huge complaint because it's we love to order all three meats. The burrito was yummy and fresh. I think I'll stick to just vegetarian next time because the steak could use improvement. Overall, great vibe, beautiful decor and good service. I can't wait to visit on a weekend with the DJ live.

This new restaurant on the Southwest side of Vegas is absolutely amazing! Located on the west side of Buffalo between Peace Way and Tropicana, it's tucked in the corner of a cute little shopping plaza. Walking into this establishment, you're immediately greeted with a spacious bar and wide open seating dining area. The walls are decorated with gorgeous prints and authentic decorations and there's a stage on the far side of the room for live music on weekends. Our waiter was awesome and super attentive. We ordered elote, shredded beef crunchy tacos, a carne asada burrito and drinks. The food was delicious, the drinks were tasty, and the service was more than fantastic! They told us about their brunch on the weekends and we cannot wait to try it! If you're in the area you need to give them a shot - supporting local new businesses is so crucial and this place is worth your time! They are kind, the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming, the food is authentic, and the drinks are yummy!!!

Did this place close down? Our friend recommended this place and we went back in April. Absolutely loved this place! The only downfall of it was the location. I feel like this restaurant would have so much potential and foot traffic if it was in a better location. I only say this because the plaza this restaurant is located in. I've seen so many businesses come and go because this is just not a good place to have a restaurant due to it being so hidden. Their service was amazing and the food was reasonably priced large portion, as well as taste very yummy. The drinks itself were super good aesthetically pretty! We were celebrating me and my best friend's birthday and when our waiter and the owner found out, they gave us free drinks and put on a whole show for us showing in the video!!! The owner was so sweet and amazing. I really do hope this restaurant flourishes. Not to mention the restaurant was so beautiful inside! It might be a girl thing but the bathroom was so beautiful. We couldn't stop taking pictures in there. The atmosphere itself was really fun. They had live music when we went. overall, this was an amazing experience. Would definitely recommend go again.

One of the only reasons they got an extra star from me

Came here on a Thursday night and there were a couple large groups and another couple seated. There was no hostess present and there was no sign on whether we could seat ourselves or if we should wait to be seated. After a few minutes of standing there confused, a hostess finally came out and seated us. Waitress was super slow to acknowledge us and get our orders. Not sure if they had a private event going on or if they were just short staffed, but the large groups were getting most of the attention from the staff. Seems like they all knew each other and were taking shots with bartending staff. Pros: really cool decor, decent drinks Cons: where do I start?!? Waitress was basically non-existent. She dropped our food and drinks off and never returned. Had to go to bar to ask for our bill. There were a few patrons and the bartender vaping in there (didn't know that was allowed in restaurants?) Music was super loud with explicit lyrics and definitely not a family-friendly restaurant. Food was meh - esquites was basically canned corn with some spice and cheese sprinkled on. We also got the surf and turf tacos. Shrimp was the frozen kind and meat was flavorful but chewy. Overall, if you're looking for a bar to have some decent drinks and to drown out all conversation with loud music, then this might be your scene. Giving 2 stars for decent drinks and ambiance.

We love trying new local restaurants and can say that our choice tonight was FANTASTIC! El Corazon Cantina is tucked away in a corner close to where Rounders is on Buffalo and right off of Tropicana. I think it just opened two months ago. The ambience Is so warming with spectacular decor. Great place to watch a game as there are several TVs lined on the side wall and a large screen in the back. I was told they also have a DJ on Friday and Saturday nights from 10pm-2am. We were greeted by Grant who was our server. Impeccable service! My husband ordered the Enchiladas as recommended by Grant-he usually orders Tacos or Burritos-He loved them and especially their salsa! I ordered the tacos-one Veggie and One shredded beef. The sides were rice and beans. Wonderful seasonings and such a fresh taste. Delicious! We will be back as they also have a rewards system. We met the owner who was absolutely lovely. This is a must try restaurant!!

    Amazing desserts!

The food was delicious and flavorful. I enjoyed the Mexican rice and big taco! The assorted dessert was just as delicious! Service was great. Fun and entertaining. Ambiance had a great lounge vibe to it with good music selection playing that night!

Attended Brunch today! It's a newer restaurant so they are working on some things still. Great food, drinks and music! There is sign Good Vibes only and this is the place. There were several big parties in for their brunch special. The staff handled it well and with a great attitude! We had pozole, avocado toast, chicken and waffle tacos and chilaquiles! Brunch time means a big shareable Mimosa free for parties of 4 girls. Can't wait till we can go again to Brunch!

My family and I tried El Corazon Cantina last night and had such a wonderful experience. We ordered a burrito bowl and chicken fajitas and everything was terrific. We also got their elote corn as an appetizer and it has so much flavor. We also had some shots that were very pleasant. Not only was the food great. But the service was impeccable. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming.

I did a tequila sampling at this restaurant and the owner and management were extremely nice very hospitable. I also ordered the shrimp tacos while I was there and they were really good. I tried my chicken tacos which were also very good. I highly recommend this restaurant for the great service and food.

This place was a little intimidating as we walked up. We heard the music and saw the big doors and thought this will be fun! We walked and everyone and everything was extremely nice! The music was pumping but it fit the whole vibe and we got into it. We ordered a giant Paloma and some tacos and let me tell you that it was all so tasty!! Give this place a try and enjoy!! It's gonna be fun!

Food was great! The giant taco and the chicken and waffles were fire! Highly recommend. This place has good vibes. The DJ keeps the energy up. The guac and carne asada with that taco shell was heavenly

Decided to check out Petrol Head with some friends this past Sunday for an early dinner at 5PM…read more There were five us total and when we walked in, we were able to sit anywhere we liked. They weren't busy at all, which is expected. Since there were five of us, we did try a good portion of their menu, including drinks. There were food items that weren't available that night since they were revamping their menu, which is a bit unfortunate. From the drinks menu: Pink Slip - Light and refreshing with a tad of fruitiness. Orange Overdrive - Lighter and more tropical version of a Mai Tai. Octane Fluff - Smooth and silky with a bit of sweetness. Pit Lane Passion - Fruity Petal to the Metal - Refreshing and sweet, the Kettle One Botanicals gives it a nice floral element Tokyo Drift - Strong, grassy, and gritty. My favorite out of all the drinks was the Octane Fluff. It was super delicious and the toasted marshmallow was a nice added touch. My least favorite was the Tokyo Drift -- it had Rihei (ginger sochu), citrus, layered matcha, and apple sake. While it sounded very interesting and looked amazing, it had plenty of potential but unfortunately, I don't think it was executed that well. The matcha used was really grassy and gritty -- I've actually never had matcha that tasted like grass before but whichever one they used, it sure did. The Rihei was far too strong and did not mesh well at all with the matcha. The apple sake was just there. It was like drinking three separate drinks but all at once. From the food menu: Japanese cucumber salad - tangy, refreshing, and slightly spicy. OG burger - delicious, plenty of flavor, and the fries were really good. Japanese curry fries - curry had great flavor but I did wish it had some meat. Wings - we tried both the guava heat and the miso honey. The guava heat was my favorite, it was sweet with a small kick. Their wings were juicy and super plump, which was great. Shoyu butter pretzel - pretty normal. Nothing special to be honest. Service is a tad slow mainly because the establishment started to fill up and they don't have a dedicated server to the tables. It was fine for us but if you get impatient, that is something to note. Prices are reasonable for the food but it is a tad high for the drinks. They do have a happy hour as well but it doesn't start until 11PM, which is super unfortunately. I would love to see a reverse happy hour sometime for them cause I simply cannot eat that late. I'm honestly pretty impressed with our first visit. It's very rare where I find a bar where I like almost all the food AND the drinks. Everyone in my party would agree as well. They are actually expanding their hours to include brunch on Saturday and Sundays. We can't wait to go back again. Definitely recommend.

But let's get straight to the issue- the HOSPITALITY! I don't like being negative- I want local businesses to thrive and reach more people, but I need to add this bit of criticism- Lately, coming here feels like you're rolling the dice- and going out to eat and being treated well shouldn't have to feel like a gamble. When I dine here, I don't feel welcome. The bartenders make it clear that they cater to some regulars more than others. It takes the bartender half an hour to get us started with drinks and a menu to look at the food. It's crazy- I come here so often know some of this establishment's staff by name now and yet, I'm met with this recent disservice- The other night I arrive here with my girlfriend to grab some food around 1 am. I see the bartender, Ryan, zooming around, refilling beer and shots, going in and out of the kitchen. It's not that busy of a Friday night- maybe a handful of couples and groups all sitting at the bar. He passed SEVERAL times by me, no acknowledgement, no "Hey, bear with me, I'll be right with ya." 1:30. He finally comes to us apologizing, gets us started on drinks and hands us the menu. We take a couple of minutes to decide. He stands around by the Pos and talks to another bartender (Andrew I think?), who came from the kitchen, then immediately left. Another 10-15 minutes pass. By this point, I was wondering if I should just walk out. Finally, Ryan comes to take our orders. Typically, a server or bartender leads the conversation, right? I'm sure you hear things like "what can I get started for you," or "how would you like your eggs cooked" or "how would you like your Steak cooked" - You've all heard those before, right? Well- nothing. No cue. No asking anything. It felt awkward. Uncomfortable. Unwelcoming. I don't even know if he was paying attention. At one point, it was ME who was the one asking my girlfriend "How do you want your eggs cooked?" when she asked to get the Steak and Eggs because there was ZERO response coming from our bartender to anything we said. The energy felt COMPLETELY off, so I just asked then and there for the check and left off to grab some Cane's instead. An absolutely dismal experience. I don't like making my reviews about me, but I felt like I needed to explain exactly why I'm upset about my recent visits here so anyone reading this can better understand instead of just reading a vague mention of how rude the staff was. Let's get to the Good Bar Bites I recommend if you do come here (maybe day time could give you a different experience): WSKY Burger- I recommend a medium on the patty! Very juicy- the crunch of the onion rings and candied bacon- One of my favorite burgers! Steakhouse sliders- tasty and sharable mini burgers! Although- I need some clarification- Can modifications be made to this dish? One day, while ordering over the phone, a bartender named Zach told me I cannot add an extra slider (I wanted 4 sliders instead of just the 3 that come on the order), I'd have to purchase two whole orders if I wanted more. What's this about? I've never had that issue before, so just curious. Flatbread Pizza- of course pizza is always awesome to munch on. The crunch on the flatbread is so satisfying I honestly don't think I'll be coming here anytime soon. It sucks. The bar looks beautiful, the food is delicious. But why have I been treated like an outsider lately? It's not worth going to a place, even if it has good food, if you're not going to be treated well.

Would be nice to have some 5oz "taster" glasses as an option at the least. Also, no offer of instruction on how to pour the beer (although I'm well versed in the proper pour) didn't inspire confidence that people weren't reusing glasses or touching the spouts while pouring. Beer didn't pour well on most taps, and one of the kegs kicked leaving me with a bunch of foam. Beer prices were a little high per ounce compared to a pint around town, but the fact you can pour almost any size pour means you'll pay a little extra. Options were decent with some beers I've not seen elsewhere in town. Overall, it's not a spot I'd visit again unless there was some special beer I couldn't find anywhere else in the city.

I don't drink so bars aren't my thing, but my mom has been wanting to come here for years, so I…read morefinally got her over here. Despite not drinking, I am glad we came! The atmosphere inside is simply top notch, its themed head to toe and for me personally, I always love a place that's well themed. We went in without a reservation and they managed to squeeze us into a table, we were served by a very friendly waitress who had good recommendations and was overall very attentive. The drinks were all good, and thankfully they have non-alcoholic versions for many of their drinks. No complaints on any of them, they were exactly what we were looking for. I will say the prices are a little steep, but this isn't someplace you are likely to come to on a regular basis, so I can excuse it. (And if you do like the vibe and come often, you can always get non tiki drinks cheaper.) Overall very very fun, wish we had come a little later because their was a band that was setting up and got maybe three songs in before we left, but they sounded pretty good!

TIKI OASIS!!! YES, PLEASE!…read more This place is a favorite of mine and always will be. The decor is beautiful, intriguing, and like I have entered a bar version of The Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland (but for adults). All around this place has so much to look at; it's amazing. Drinks are yummy and beautiful here. They even have a nice food menu where you can get some things like coconut shrimp to pair with your tropical drinks. They do have the famous Dole Whip here. They also have a happy hour during weekdays from 3-6 pm I think (don't quote me on this exactly LOL). It's often busy so if you want a table, I recommend making a reservation. Service is always nice and friendly. It's a beautiful place for a drink, to hangout with friends, or show someone while they are visiting Vegas. Best bar in town for decor!!!

The ambiance is great. Ample seating at both the bar and in the lounge area. Great music, with the ability to choose your own. The food is also awesome. My favorites are the Cajun chicken Alfredo, buffalo cauliflower, and the carne asada tacos but you can't go wrong with anything you order here. If you're looking for a solid locals spot with locals pours and a fun (but not overstimulating) place to chill, couldn't recommend this place higher.

We moved to the other side of the bar, but the were numerous empty tables we could have moved to if needed. Kat was our bartender and was super friendly, attentive, and upbeat. We had the Guiness burger and the brisket grilled cheese on Texas toast. Brisket sandwich was salty but good. Burger was incredible. The bacon, Guiness, and sirracha provided an excellent mingling of flavors and not too spicy. The side salad is a good size and the balsamic vinegarette was nice. My hubby loved the steak fries with his sandwich. The martinis were cold and good. I will always venture in here to check out the smoke level when going out. It was a great experience. Great food, drinks and service.
