I have enjoyed coming here at the end of my pregnancy. Rosie is super kind and attentive despite treating many people at once! and the community acupuncture model is convenient and affordable. It is also easy to schedule online and pay through Venmo if desired, and the business sends out confirmation emails and texts. It always seems very efficient and timely as after the first appointment you can just walk into the treatment room without having to wait! At 38 weeks pregnant, my baby moved around a lot during and after the first treatment and my midwife said it seemed like baby had moved into a better position for labor after the first two acupuncture appointments. read more

I have had two visits with Rosie to date and the improvement in my thumb is amazing. I had been in pain for several month and finally went to the doctor because it wasn't getting better. My doctor first thought it was arthritis, but no arthritis showed on the x-ray. She sent me to a Physical Therapist who was very helpful in figuring out what was going on. He determined it was a pinched nerve in my neck. Unfortunately, he was pretty booked up and it would be another 3 weeks to get another appointment. Being impatient I went looking for another way to find some relief. After my first visit with Rosie the improvement was amazing. I have had two visits and can see an end to my pain. This is a great place! I'm so happy that there is a community acupuncture option for me here. It's a very nice and peaceful clinic with comfy chairs, calming music and wonderful smells. Rosie is very attentive and listens to your issues so she can tailor a treatment plan specifically for your needs. I had pain running down my leg and it was gone with 2 visits. This is such an awesome service. Rosie is so gentle and caring. I have had acupuncture in the past, but could not afford the repetitive treatments necessary for acupuncture to work. I was skeptical about only getting needles in areas not covered by clothing, but I can tell you it WORKS! It is nice to meditate for the duration of the treatment (30-45min) and the other patients in the room seem to add to the experience. The room has about 10 or so table/beds and chairs that you can choose from. It is always a quiet relaxing experience and I have felt a lot of healing. read more

Someone recommended this location and said that Rosie is always praises among her friends. I have had ankle pain from a broken ankle and also tennis elbow. I loved the environment right away. I feel better and will be making a follow up visit for a few days from now! If you have never tried acupuncture, there's nothing to fear. Once in a while there's a little "prick" sensation, but no invasive sense at all. You can choose to either sit comfortably in a recliner or chair, or lie down for the treatment. Allow about 45 minutes or so, but you can lie there in peace for an hour if you want! One thing that is very interesting: in most places, including another acupuncture clinic in Sacramento which I also liked, patients are seen in individual private treatment rooms. I liked the communal sense of healing together in one room with the other patients. It was very pleasant for me, and I am one that likes my privacy and have great boundaries. There's no need to speak with anyone except Rosie, but I liked the collective energy. read more

After being aware of Rosie's clinic for months, I finally just had my first session with her and I couldn't be more pleased! I broke down and came in because I decided to take up trail running and despite all the great guidance I received from long distance endurance runners, I still pushed my body too far too soon. As a result, I ended up with a couple of knees and low back that were very unhappy with me. On my drive down, my knees even hurt to drive and keep the constant pressure on the gas and shift. After my session with Rosie (when she had to wake me up and roll me off the table since I completely zonked out and had to go back to work), I am pleased to say that my knees were already noticeably improved on the drive home with the pain already diminished. I am thankful to have someone like Rosie and her clinic so nearby and can't wait for my next session! Now if only I can honor my body to let all her good work take effect :-) read more
