The only thing that was a little strange was that their menu QR code took us to their Instagram page. Me being a total dinosaur did not have an IG account and couldn't see the menu, but luckily hubby did. There is a host's stand at the Hotel Casa del Rector entrance to make sure that there is seating to accommodate your party before allowing you to go up. Our hostess did not tell us how to actually get to the rooftop, so we just walked up a couple flights and found ourselves in a completely empty but very pretty courtyard. We found more stairs up across the courtyard, even though it looked like it led to hotel guest rooms and private balconies, then eventually ended up at the top where the pool and bar were. Totally took my breath away at the complete transformation from the busy cobblestone street to panoramic views of the city.
