Brought the cord and laptop back in and was told a week later that the motherboard was bad and a replacement would be nearly the price of a new laptop. I was literally without a laptop for nearly a month and a half. Today, my daughter mentioned she had her laptop fixed by another tech place in town called The Rex Tech, which is literally across the street from El-Genes. I rushed my laptop in, they flushed the BIOS twice, found me a cord and I was in and out in 2 hours with a working laptop.

It would have been $11.00 flat, but I needed to run the dryer a few times for a super large load o packed together. If I had brought my own detergent/sheets, I would have spent $8.00 (3 washer loads & 2 dryer loads "re-ran"). The owners are very nice and will provide refunds when necessary.

Matthew, that worked with me was very professional and arrived on time. He explained everything well and finished it in a timely matter within an hour so I was pleased the last estimate he gave me to fix. It was a little bit more than what I wanted to pay for a new one, but such is good labor, and service. If you need to have something repaired, I recommend these guys if you can't afford it just bypass it and see about fixing yourself.
