We asked for Gyro of pork with chips and Souvlaki of chicken rolled in a wrap of pita bread. They are tasty and they are served with a yoghurt sauce that I love it. They have a menu with starters, salads, classic Greek dishes, etc. The guys that run the place are very nice and helpful. The place is not very big so probably you need a reservation if you go more than three people. They have take away service and they accept cards. Please don t forget to ask for Baklava as a dessert, delicious pastry made of layers of filo. A must go in Dublin.

Not perfect but nearly there…read more I live around the corner so was curious to see these guys working like Trojans over Christmas to get the restaurant ready for new year. Ever since they opened the restaurant has been busy every mealtime. After a large late lunch, we got peckish around 8.30pm so it seemed like a perfect excuse to order from our new Greek neighbours. We had mixed dips with pitta, hummus, spinach and feta fritters, mpriam (more of which later), a chicken gyro and (ordered by accident due to a dodgy phone line and a bit of confusion on my part in ordering) lemon and oregano roast chicken and potatoes. The food was cooked to order so the two roasted potato dishes meant that we had a 30 minute wait - no problem for us but if ordering for delivery you should factor in that this is not really 'fast food'. A lot of the food had lost quite a bit of heat by the time I got it home on a very cold January night so a quick blast in the microwave was needed to bring it back up to my wife's preferred temperature (two degrees hotter than lava). The food was delicious. The mpriam (oven-baked potatoes, zucchini, aubergines, tomatoes, onions and herbs) was a triumph and greatly enjoyed by all the veggies in our house. The chicken gyro pitta wrap was also really tasty and a welcome change from burgers etc. The lemon & oregano chicken was good but the potatoes surrounding were another star. Can't really comment on service as I was just collecting an order placed by phone but one of the owners whom I spoke to - George - was really friendly and seemed genuinely delighted with the great reception his new restaurant has had. I want to bring a Greek friend to get his views but one thing is for sure - we'll be back.

I stopped in around 2pm (14:00) on a Saturday after walking the Cliff Walk from Bray to Greystones…read more I was inspired by the scenery and feeling quite hungry. Vinos selection of hearty sandwiches and reasonable prices drew me in. When I arrived, there were only a few tables occupied, and I tucked into a charming corner location. Soon, though, the restaurant was brimming with people, surprising for a Saturday afternoon. Some seemed to be tourists, but there were a number of families, too. One fellow was taking advantage of the free wifi with his Mac. I chose "The New Yorker," which was not like a sandwich I've eaten in that city. It featured pastrami, celeriac coleslaw, swiss cheese, and a mustard-mayo sauce. The good bread was perfectly grilled to golden perfection, and I found the balance of ingredients to my liking. That is, unlike a typical deli sandwich in the States, this one did not have several inches of meat; I know lots of people like an impressive pile of meat, but I prefer a balance of ingredients. I didn't order skinny chips with my sandwich, but they appeared, and they were fresh-tasting (a sure sign that oil gets changed regularly), hot, and crispy. I thought that the service was a little slow, especially before the tables filled up (when it was full, I could certainly understand that the staff was busy). Still, they were pleasant when I asked for my forgotten beverage, etc. I would certainly return.

Absolutely deliciously authentic! As someone who's extremely particular about traditional Easter…read moredishes and Mediterranean flavors, I was genuinely impressed. Every bite tasted like it came straight from a cherished family recipe. This cozy, family-run restaurant radiates warmth and hospitality from the moment you walk in -- you instantly feel like part of the family. The hummus and baba ghanoush are out of this world: creamy, fresh, and full of flavor. The shawarma was perfectly seasoned and tender, and the Lebanese potatoes were crisped to perfection with just the right touch of garlic and spice. We finished with strong, fragrant Lebanese coffee and flaky, melt-in-your-mouth baklava -- the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Every dish was clearly made with love and attention to detail. It's the kind of hidden gem you feel lucky to discover. Tucked away in Dublin, this place deserves far more attention. And as if the food weren't reason enough to fall in love, the lovely lady proprietor is warm, welcoming -- and a Metallica fan! Seriously, how cool is that? Highly, highly recommend!

I went with the chicken mansef for my main course and it was seriously good. The chicken was tender, and the rice was perfect, but the best part was definitely the texture and flavor burst from the pomegranate seeds scattered on top. That little bit of sweet and sour pop really made the dish stand out. Excellent food, a gorgeous atmosphere, and friendly service.

It's all there at Ramos' Greek buffet, another mainstay of the Epicurean Food Hall with its own entrance off Lotts Lane. What I'm struck most by is the authenticity of the surroundings -white tile, blue walls, Greek soaps playing on a TV in the office with a few locals gathered at a table close by, sipping coffee and talking shop. Sit in for the buffet lunch (€9.50 for all you can eat) and make the most of the hot food on offer including chicken with rice, a rich tomatoey stew or two, hot vege and more. I kept it simple and went the salad route, the feta cheese and was just the right side of crumbly and moist. She got the moussaka, and said that the eggplant was cooked just right. The flavours were wonderful.
