I am looking for the best breakfast burrito and everyone said I needed to come here. They allow you to customize your order and I didnt get that at first. $13 for the burrito seemed high bacon, eggs, potatoes, and rice. There was a lot of filling but for some reason it fell apart and ended up eating with a fork. Taste A+, ease of eating C, value C. There is much more on the menu to try. Don't tell some one 45 min then deliver 1.5 hrs later it was Ice cold, excuse was I had other deliveries and you had two drop offs, it does not take 45 mins from east side to the west side of town. They did not take ownership. I always tip good and was going to tip her good for taking two deliveries. And some may say it was not her fault. She was the one that took the order and told me the time and then took no ownership when she came to deliver she blamed me, I almost didn't accept the food But the people it was for were hungry so I did. The portions are HUGE for the price and the food is always fresh and hot. The Breakfast burritos are thicc and have cuts of perfectly cooked chunky bacon, fluffy eggs, melty cheese and crisp potatoes. My rating is based on the quality of the food from my group of four people. The service was average. The bathroom was clean. At the beginning, the chips were stale. I wanted to eat the chips but it was noticeable that the chips were left out of the bag and served to my group. We ordered different dishes and every person in my group said the meat had poor flavor, the rice was crunchy and the beans tasted old. Rice should never be crunchy. There are many places where there is a few crunchy bites of rice that is still unappealing to eat. However when all the rice is crunchy that is just unacceptable. The sopes were stale and hard to bite into and the carne asada tasted as if had been reheated too many times. Prior to my visit last week, this was a favorite place to stop by and eat. However it has been at least 2 years since I have been back. The quality of food has dropped terribly. This place has the worst service! I sometimes eat there during my lunch hour, since I work in Porterville. Today I sat outside because the weather is warm outside. A young skinny waitress comes over and asks "for here or to go?" I say for here, and she walked off. No drink order. She comes back five minutes later and asked if I was ready to order. I place my order and ask for salsa, and lemons on the side. I even repeat it, as did she. When a tattooed woman waitress brings my food, it had neither lemons nor salsa on the side. I ask for a refill, she takes my cup and NEVER brought it back. I go inside to pay 15 minutes later with the same tattooed waitress. I ask if I can have a to go cup, because she forgot to bring my refill. She looks right at me, no apology- nothing. The thing that really bothered me was that a white family also ate outside, and the same skinny Hispanic waitress checked on them three times to see if they needed anything else, but never check on me. I always leave tips, so I would think that they'd at least do the bare minimum in providing service (checking on me, if I need anything, refill). But they didn't check on me, not once. The girl with the glasses is the only good one there, but she wasn't there today. I've had substandard service there in the past, but always gave it another chance after several weeks. I even went during the past year when people were scared to eat out. Today - that ENDS. I'll never visit that restaurant AGAIN. I'll go to taco rico across the street instead. read more

Wonderful improvement. We liked the old business but came to try the new owners. The best chili verde over eggs in town and Sherryl loved her chicken tostada. Very clean, perfect spice and heat.
