The chips are stale and the salsa is tasteless. I ordered a large cheese sauce and told the waitress I was going to take part of it home. She brought me a to go cup. I asked for some chips. They aren't great but the cheese sauce made them better. She brought me chips and salsa and charged me for them. I had her take them off and I left the rest of the $10 cheese dip in the container on the table. I understand charging for chips and salsa to go, but the chips should have been included with the $10 cheese sauce. read more

MSG???? I have to start by saying that I am highly allergic to MSG and I rarely eat out unless I know the restaurant does not flavor their food with monosodium glutamate (MSG) because it is not worth the SCREAMING migraine combined with nausea I will get from it. I'm rather certain this restaurant uses MSG because after a wonderful evening with friends, I started feeling ill before I even left the restaurant and woke at 3:42 AM with a migraine. My husband and I split the combination appetizer as our meal, and to be honest, there wasn't much variety in the combo. It was mostly chicken or beef served on chips or tortillas. I think the enchilada should have been just cheese because everything started to taste the same. But I was hungry and I ate some of everything including chips, salsa and guacamole. Not the best idea, I know. I should also mention that I only ordered water. BUT!!!! The place is nice and the service was great! The appetizer was a good size for two people. My friends eat there regularly and highly recommend the pork. (They, obviously, don't have issues with MSG.) The portions are large, so you'll want to share or prepare to take home a lot of leftovers. I know I made a bad decision by not asking first but I have been lied to before (in other restaurants) and it does get embarrassing to have to ask. It makes me sound PICKY but I took my migraine meds at 7:40AM and it is 10:39AM as I am writing this...and I'm still sick. I just can't give a great review to any restaurant that includes MSG in their seasoning, and if I am wrong about them, I will retract that part and just say I got food poisoning. I wish restaurants would find better solutions to preparing food by not adding MSG or preservatives. I was in there last night and the owner/manager is extremely unprofessional and an asshole. Got served raw salmon, he said it wasn't raw and refused to fix it. And the server I had refused to give me my receipt because the owner/manager told him not to give it to me so I couldn't complain. Also the server sorted me on how much money I was supposed to get back and cant prove it cant becausehe refised to give me a receipt. And the restaurant is so dark you can't see crap. Probably bugs crawling all over, can't see if they were cause it's so dark. I have a picture to prove that it's raw would post it on here but don't have that option. Your in for a big wake up call when the health department comes. I have contacted them. Blasted you on Facebook, yelp, Google reviews and a few others. Your business gonna start suffering cause your a dumb ass who doesn't know how to run a business and won't listen to the customers. Word of mouth will kill you. We went Sunday after Church. It was packed but it was worth the wait. The waitress kept our drinks full. The food was Hot and Flavorful. Just the right amount of spice. The portions were big. And not a lot of rice and beans filling the plate. We will definitely be going back there soon. read more

This place doesn't get the attention it deserves. Got the sampler and the Ranchero Jalisco and we split it all between two adults and two small children. It was beyond enough food and the food was delicious. Their salsa is great! I am saddened to see all the empty seats on a Sunday afternoon because it deserves the attention. We arrived at about 7 pm which is a busy time on a Friday. We got right in and was sat quickly. We had gaucomole with our chips. I tried a new burrito dish which came with two burritos with green sauce and cheese sauce. It was great for a change. read more

Traveling thru and found this restaurant on Yelp and decided, based on the ratings, to stop for lunch. The restaurant is airy and clean and the staff is friendly and helpful from the get go. First of all I have a thing about salsa but the salsa here was perfect - chunky and flavorful! Next the guacamole and Queso! Both of them were perfect! I ordered the Nachos Mexicano which was with grilled steak, onions and green peppers on nachos and queso and it was delicious! My sister ordered the Taco Salad and it was fresh and very good.
