Chicken Quesadilla
Sarah H.

We stopped here to grab lunch one day and it was lovely! It was a beautiful day and a lovely patio outside to sit. The inside decor is really fun and very themed. The margaritas are strong!! Which was great for us! The food was delicious - chicken was cooked really well and had a lot of flavor. I'd absolutely recommend!

Super cheesy quesadilla

Visited this location for the first time after loving the Redbank one.. absolutely amazing! First thing I noticed was the beautiful dining area with such a great atmosphere. My fiancé and I received our chips and salsa right after sitting down (I was super hungry so I was very happy ) our server got our drinks asap as well, I got a house marg and he got a Pepsi. Our server, wish I knew his name, had slicked back hair and so attentive. I got a pollo poblano salad with the sauces on the side.. my fiancé got a pick 2 combo with the chimichanga and quesadilla. He loved the rice and beans, along with the cheese sauce for my salad. I 100% recommend visiting this place, not one bad part of my night .. thank you El Jinete!!

Burnt bits from the grill all throughout my chicken fajitas.

I've ordered El Jinete a few times through DoorDash, the first time routed to the Montgomery Road location and the next two to this location. With the Montgomery location, everything came out great. This location, not so much. Every time I got the chicken fajitas there was always a lot of chicken, which is great, but from this location, oddly, there were just a few onion strips. (I'd also requested no peppers, so I basically just had chicken with a little tomato.) Both times I went ahead and sautéed an onion so I'd have enough. My last meal, all the chicken/onion came with a ton of black burnt grill bits I had to pick off as they gave everything a burnt, bitter taste. I'm hoping if I order next time I can request the other location.

Always good, every time! Workers are welcoming and the food comes out fast. Burrito El Barzon was a certified gasser.

The wife and I were slow on the uptake when it comes to arepas. We're still newbies; at this point…read morewe've tried them from just five or six purveyors here and there. Hell, we're still sussing out the Colombian vs. Venezuelan arepa rivalry. But the arepa pabellon at Arrechissimo (this apparently means "awesome" in Venezuelan Spanish) wins the prize for us so far, and it's not even close. Even if it initially seems expensive at $13.50, it is a near-miraculous little food item, regardless of one's knowledge about arepas generally. It's perfect in its simplicity and greater than the sum of its parts: Wonderful white-corn flatbread style rolls with a great balance of fluffy and crisp, flavorful shredded beef, fried plantains, black beans, and melted mild cheese. Add the spicy cilantro salsa, which is just about perfect in its own right. By the way, despite its compact size, the arepa pabellon is plenty filling. Arrechissimo is just a food stand with maybe four outdoor tables. The setting in quiet Deer Park is pleasant and comfortable enough, when the weather is reasonably nice. Unfortunately for us, Arrechissimo is far enough away that carryout is not a suitable option during those too-many months when Cincinnati weather is not so nice. Owner Javier is about as welcoming and friendly a host as there is in the metro.

We didn't realize that when we decided to go. However, they do have 3 or 4 outdoor tables. Right beside the tables are very sturdy extendable umbrellas that they can open to shade you whenever you want. Their food is handmade, fresh and delicious. Got a vegetarian bowl with rice, beans, plantains, lettuce, and avocado slices accompanied by 2 small arepas. The arepas and empanadas seemed to be made from the same dough and it's a good thing because it is extremely mouth-watering - yum! Kudos to the owner. He is the nicest man - friendly, and really cares about his customers.

Let me tell you, I didn't complain because the Birria Equites was right back on my radar and it didn't disappoint Oh! I tried something new! Cactus! It is so good!!! Hubby got a different dish, Del Mar Trio and he loves it! Ok, with that out of the way, let me do a standing ovation to the staff! we were served incredibly fast! Everyone loved their food and was so happy! One of the people spilled their drink and a gentleman was there immediately cleaning it off the table, someone else right behind him with a mop. Literally cleaned and dried within minutes! This place is beautiful to look at, clean, consistently good, great for couples or groups! Darly our server was a pro the whole time! Thank you all for a great lunch experience!

I was upcharged…read morewithout warning on two meals, my cocktail arrived with a dead bug floating in it (tequila and soda), and the total for three drinks we ordered at our table cost $60. When we questioned how this was possible they told us that each shot of house tequila apparently was $9.99 and they put doubles in ours. When I asked to see the manager to protest, he said something about the menu changing or something--not really sure. All I know is that this place charged $20 per cocktail, the first beverage arrived with a dead bug in it, and the charges for these cocktails--which were fine but not swoon-worthy--was not clearly stated. Poor customer service when we politely addressed it with the manager. I do not usually post negative reviews but this seems so duplicitous and sneaky that I don't think it should be swept under the rug.
