When we got the new tacos we realized the only topping on any of them was cheese; no onions or cilantro on the three regular or crema on the pollo. They told us they don't have crema even though it's available to order on takeout and they charged us for it. At that point it had been forever and we were starving so we just took it. Food was good and they were nice enough to remake it but absolutely not worth the hassle especially since we never actually got what we ordered.

The chicken empanadas are the meatiest empanadas I've had in town, delicious and a pretty good deal at 3/$11. Perfect for sharing, on their own, it's a meal. They also now serve a basic crunchy taco, but unfortunately, they only come in orders of 4 so couldn't try those and the empanadas. I guess I'll have to come back. Oh noooo! Keep an eye on the promotions from Thunderdome around the holidays for some discount gift certificates too. Bakersfield still delivers great food at a solid value after 14 years.
