This place was really packed on a Sunday. Seemed like a delicious place to eat and prices looked ok. I went with my family, and they did not have any vegetarian or vegan dishes to accommodate me, since I'm vegan. My family wanted to order the V ceviche they only offer on Sundays. Yesterday when we went was a Sunday, and they happened to not have it. They ended up ordering the fried fish with rice and avocados with a side of patacones. My mom SPECIFICALLY asked the server if the dish comes with avocados. He said yes. The picture also shows the plate as it should come. The plate came, no avocado. My mom asked the server and the server said he would ask the chef what happened. He came back and supposedly the dish does not come with avocados. My mom said she even asked him? He said he was incorrect, however, my mom said that that's not right if the picture shows it, so she asked for the manager. The MANAGER had to come out and told us to our face that the pictures "unfortunately" do not represent how the food actually comes ??? what????? She said she wants her avocado just like it comes I. The picture because what is the big deal?? She even asked the server. Side note, the picture also doesn't indicate it came with patacones, that's WHY my mom ordered a side of them. But on the dish replaced that for the avocados, so my mom had double patacones for no reason. Once the manager left, the server came by and my mom asked for lemons, because the dish lacked flavor. He was clearly overwhelmed with the amount of customers in the restaurant because she had to ask 3 more times. We really waited over 10 minutes to get a lemon wedge and once the avocado came my mom ate it and we stood up to pay. The bill? 20€. Wow. Unbelievable for this service. Would not recommend.

Wanted to point out Venezuela has its own unique version of guacamole, affectionately called Guasacaca. El Rincon carries on this tradition, and I'm so glad I was able to experience it. I met the owner, one of the very few workers that spoke English, and he explained the make up of this tasty condiment - onion, cilantro, green pepper, salt, garlic, avocado, a little bit of olive oil, and vinegar. EXCELLENT atop my arepa! The entire sandwich melded perfectly, sweet, salty and savory in every bite. The owner gentleman did a great job checking in, the service was fast and efficient, and I never felt rushed. I was really digging the vibe of this eatery, as it seemed to be a true neighborhood spot. All the locals inside, none of the touristy appeal. I recommend if you like Venezuelan food to give this restaurant a try!

Not even mention the taste is just so basic. Either they charge the tourist different price or someone need to change the price scale in this place.
