The food was all delicious, with more than ample servings. I had the salmon special, and my wife the chuleta kan kan, and an excellent Chardonnay from the Anderson Valley in California. The environment was clean neat, with a friendly staff, and attention to Covid-19 safety. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and quantity. We had to take some of my wife's food home, but that didn't stop her from ordering a rich dessert of churro, ice cream, and caramel. We will surely return on our next vacation in Puerto Rico. read more

We are on vacation in Puerto Rico from Miami, Fl. A family member brought us here for dinner and WOW best food we have had in the four days we spent in Puerto Rico. Our server Yaslin (sorry if I misspelled it) was amazing, she was kind, quick and on top of things. Our order for our 2 year old came out in correct. She noticed quickly and offered to change it. Her customer service was 10/10 and the food was even better! We loved it here. Wish we could have it back at home. Obviously I am judging based on my experience. I understand that sometimes it gets crowded, but if you are going to set an extension, make it suitable to be a familiar place, they sat us in the bar area with super loud music and a lot of echo. We kindly asked if we could be moved to the dinning area and the host said yes but after around 35 minutes we noticed that we were ignored... we decided to have our orders cancelled and that was the moment they just had a table for us... funny timing huh? The service... well I saw a good attitud but lack of knowledge or training ( I was a restaurant supervisor for 4 years and I saw no organization), also we made some orders and they were bringing the exact opposite, at that point it was very frustrating. Lastly, the food... not great not horrible. Definitely not the best. read more

Alrighty then, this is one of my favorite restaurants in Caguas. This place has some of the best Puerto Rican dishes ever. I absolutely love their Arroz mamposteado (there's no translation, but it's a yellow rice with plantains and seasoning and more) and their yuca majadas (mashed yuca) are amazing. I had their stuffed chicken breast with chorizo and mofongo which was a-maz-ing. I highly recommend the place if you're in the Caguas area and are looking for some authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. read more

A more upscale Puerto Rican restaurant for Criollo cuisine. The decor is ideal for a nice date night or dinner with friends. I've had a couple of their fish dishes and their chicken dish. Its all be really good. Their beans can be a bit salty but I do like their rice. The salad in their dishes are pretty good by island standards as it is hard to find good salads in PR. Our family and friends have loved this place from the beginning but service has de lined. It's a busy place yet service used to be good. No such thing yesterday. We ordered our food when we placed the order for drinks and appetizers.... one and a half hours later, our food had not arrived, the server was nowhere to be found, and when we asked another server she said the kitchen was "verifying the order".... meanwhile patrons that arrived after we did had their food served, desserts included, and more than a few had already paid and left. When we approached the hostess and asked for our ticket for the drinks and appetizers we let her know the amount of time that had passed was unacceptable. She brought in whom we presumed was the manager, who was rather unapologetic for what we complained about, saying our food was almost ready (we are sure the order was placed after we inquired for the delay)... and that they had had problems with one of the fryers. We found that hard to believe for the rhythm with which food was being served all around us never slowed down... we saw several people being served what we had ordered, so the menu items seemed not to be an issue either. What bothered us the most was the fact that not a single employee owned up to the fact they had indeed made a mistake. Not a single apology... they didn't charge us, but my impression is that it didn't matter to them for the place was packed. I sent the restaurant page a message over Facebook and the response I received was so generic .... unacceptable. Never again. read more
