Food portions were very large. We had fajitas, enchiladas and chips; lots to eat and was cooked well. Tasted very good. Staff was very nice and bathrooms were clean! We were driving from the Virginia Shore to Ocean City and looking to stop for lunch. We stopped here because there was not a lot of people (covid times) and wow was it a good choice. Chips and salsa were fresh and the salsa home made. We ordered fajitas and camarones a la diabla and both were fantastic. I love that the diabla salsa was actually really spicy. My husband is from Mexico and really loved everything. Only slightly negative thing I would say is that the corn tortillas were not home made, but overall everything was great. The food here is out of this world good. The portions are well worth the money and the stuff is quick to refill drinks and take care of customers. I've never had a bad experience there. This was a huge disappointment! Service was very good and fairly quick but the food was a shame. Old pico de gallo with no flavor, old rice that seemed like a few days old and also no flavor and overcooked, taco meat tasted horrible and seems like can meat, nothing that we ordered tasted fresh or good. Also there's so many flies you have to eat while you wave your hands around to keep them off. First time I go to a Mexican restaurant that serves such crappy food. We just finished our Texas fajitas for two. It could have fed four people. The meats and veggies were cooked well, the tortillas were wonderful, and our server, Juan, was great. We were greeted the instant we arrived by smiling folks and were treated great the whole time. The food is mildly spiced, so ask for spicier if you want some heat. We have eaten here several times and have never had a problem with food or service. But this evening was a big disappointment. I had a strawberry margarita and my husband had a Malibu Breeze. Neither drink contained alcohol. If there was any alcohol in the drinks it was watered down. I don't mind paying 9% tax on alcoholic drinks, but don't charge me if you are going to skip the alcohol. All I had was margarita mix and crushed ice. My husband had cranberry juice, pineapple juice and coconut flavoring. Sheer disappointment tonight. read more

I got an order of Mole Chicken Enchiladas tonight to go. I am not exactly sure what kind of sauce they used, but it was not like any mole I have ever had and I have had a lot. It was a light reddish brown sauce, not the usual black that you get with a mole. There was no hint of spice. I guess you could say it was like a Mexican version of gravy. Otherwise the quality of the food was ok, just not at all what I was expecting. My wife and mother in law said their burritos were ok, not great. It might be that they are cooking to the preferred taste of the locals. I am not sure. read more

food was tasty and had depth to seasoning, which I don't see in many Mexican restaurants in the region, but the food was tepid in temperature. the cheese was congealed at that point. we waited quite some time for our food and were oddly sat right by the kitchen in a not very busy restaurant. it was in my opinion that the server didn't bring the food out when it was ready. we were hungry at that point, so we sucked it up. the staff seems very young so I'm chalking it up to inexperience in a new spot. I'm originally from southern Ca where I know what mexican food should taste like...I chose the carne asada tacos and three tamales to go....No flavor no seasoning no nada (nothing). I remember saying now that's a taco when ate them in the past...and...the tamales where centuries old, dry, red dyed chicken with some nasty tasting red stuff covering the tamales...What A Disappointment for someone that was really looking forward to a new experience on the shore. Picking up some take out on the way home from my volunteer job. Heard good things about this new restaurant. Food was very good. Service was a tad slow but very polite and helpful. Took a bit longer than expected for food to come out but the husband and I really enjoyed the taco salad, burrito, tostada etc. Definitely will return for a dine in experience. read more

The salsa was good, had a "little" heat to it at least. The Burrito was also good, however it's down hill from there. The burrito plate came with no sides (no refried beans or rice), the guacamole was ok, but the real disappointment was the red sauce that they put over the burrito! I love red sauce, but this stuff was extremely watery, had very little flavor, and absolutely no heat! It might as well have been ketchup mixed with water! I wound up putting the rest of our salsa on the burrito to give it some flavor and a little heat! As I said the burrito itself was good, but they need to improve their sauces and overall use of some spices! read more

Three stars because the food is phenomenal; however, the service is not. We called in our order both times we have been. The first time, we had to repeat our order when we got there and wait for it to be cooked. No big deal, maybe someone misplaced a ticket. The second time, I didn't realize until I got home that they had forgotten to give me one of my meals, even though I had repeated back to her what I needed, and that meal stood out since it had a substitution. We tipped big both times regardless, but I don't think we'll be back for a while to give them time to iron out some of the service wrinkles. read more
