Luego nos querían sentar en la primera mesa después de la puerta de entrada y por que las demás mesas eran de 3 o más total éramos los únicos. El menú es por la página electrónica y es variado. Pedi mofongo tres Grandes que es pollo, camarones y carne en salsa criolla y mi esposa por los camarones con coco y batata frita. En términos generales todo fue bien y la comida estaba rica. As soon as we arrived and parked, we were greeted by someone who worked in the property and told us that there was a private party, but that they will see us. We felt very welcomed. Our server was fantastic. The entire waitstaff was attentive and friendly. We never felt rushed. The food was amazing. It was very fresh so there was a wait which was fine with us. They have a big field with coffee fruit bushes in the distance. They have a nice photo op. The store features a cafe with seating outdoors. They sell pastries and of course coffee. They do sell speciality coffees. I personally got to try their strawberry shortcake drink. I also got to buy coffee beans. Unfortunately they didn't feature roast dates on the bags. The staff was well informed about what bags to buy for what notes/tastes you prefer. It's a nice detour for anything coffee related.

I bought 3, 1-lbs bags of coffee and it cost $70. Which makes me think this place is more tourist attraction than anything approaching an authentic coffee farm. Did the peacocks give it that away? With that in mind, it's a beautiful albeit out the way place to sit and drink a cup of coffee. If you'd like a tour plan your visit during the weekend! Don't be like me.

The women who served us were kind, patient, and welcoming, and the restaurant was beautifully lit, creating a warm and romantic atmosphere. Every dish we ordered was exceptional. My husband, being as kind and supportive as he is, always lets me order everything my eyes desire, even when he knows I'll never be able to finish it all. I love that I get to enjoy every bite to my heart's content--and sharing those moments with him makes the experience even more meaningful. Just so much flavor butting in your mouth. I had gotten. Mojito drink which was also very refreshing. For my meal, I was feeling the fish since it was one of the popular dishes. So long was our wait that I wondered if she went home and the restaurant forgot to make sure we got our ordered food. We didn't want to be those idiot Americans who complained about the Island time wait (we all have seen those reviews), so we sat and smiled and waited... and waited... and waited. Finally, our waitress reappeared and brought our food. At this point, I had gone beyond hungry, hangry, and then starving, and had now reached a full blown loss of appetite. Typically, when food is SO late to arrive, you would anticipate that it is freshly cooked due to a delayed kitchen trying to catch up... our plates were burning hot, like they had been sitting under a warmer for the last hour. Yikes. The ribs I ordered were very good, but pretty fatty and oddly missing the bones- my sour stomach could only handle three ribs before I had to tap out. The rice and beans that I ordered on the side were the worst I had in PR. Two wild dogs joined us on the patio, keeping us all company as we waited another thirty minutes for the check. We left running to the car, very sad to have lost the day to a mediocre meal... but I was even more sad to realize that I had been sitting in the shade for so long that the indirect Puerto Rican sun had burnt my entire body to a bright red crisp.
