At least my remolacha Risotto was uniquely delicious. My only complaint or disappointment will be the tres leches. The restaurant is on the back side of this place. The front is for parties? And there's also parking on the back side so drive all the way around. I sat outside where there was a nice breeze and ordered some fish and wine. It's really tasty. Also quiet outside even though there was a party of about a dozen people seated outside. I feel like everyone in PR already knows about this restaurant but wanted to add our experience here as well. The cocktails are mixed with fresh juices and rum from the island (obviously) and are quite effective. Ali had the parcha mojito, I ordered a coco version. We both ordered risotto (it's what they're known for after all); chicken pesto and the shrimp in coconut cream. The chicken pesto was very good. Be sure to ask for extra pesto if you like a bolder flavor. Delicious! The shrimp risotto was next level. I'd rate it among one of the best risotto dishes I've ever tasted. Many times, both shrimp and risotto are easy to overcook, one becomes hard and one becomes mushy. This dish was perfect. The pasta was al dente and the shrimp were plump, juicy and super fresh. But the star of the show in this dish is the cream sauce. Just the right combination of mild creamy, garlicky, spicy essence. Def 5 stars!!!!! read more

I had the first dish on the menu. It was the chicken stuffed with shrimp. I had it with rice and chick peas. OMG the best dish. It was unique and tasted awesome. The appetizers were also good. The service was outstanding. They constantly checked on us and made sure the drinks were full. The place is beautiful. Ambiance is peaceful and quiet. I cannot say enough about this place. It is not a tourist trap. It is off the beat and path but so worth it. If you want to have a date night that is well done, Zafra is the place. If you like resoto, you will love this place. read more

Everything went well. The parking is very comfortable. Inside and Outside dining; I chose outside. The waiters are respectful and in very good mood. The food tasted great. I would add a second as part of the menu. The only thing I didn't like was the cinnamon-butter. And if you ask for extra bread, you get charged. read more

Food is delicious and the service is great. The reason it's 4 stars, is that we were sat next to big party who were extremely loud and the staff never approached them as to their disruptive behavior. Other than that, 100 percent recommended. You have to try their risottos. read more

The food is very good. The atmosphere is pleasant and they have a nice outside patio. My husband had the paella and I had the shrimp dinner. Both entrees were delicious. My only complaint is the tostones are not made fresh as the waiter claimed. They are either frozen or reheated. I am a huge fan of tostones and like them made fresh. We went for supper last night to this outstanding restaurant. Parking is ample which makes this establishment very accessible. The restaurant has an upscale ambiance but at the same time is cozy enough. The menu is varied with seafood and fish plates. We started with a beef and gandules soup, perfectly seasoned. We ordered Sangria, very good as well. I ate a seafood risotto, very well executed, just the right amount of cheese with plenty of seafood. Desert was a creme brûlée, delicious, with a cup of "cortao"(coffee). The experience was great all around, service excellent; highly recommend. read more

Nice place in the middle of nowhere near Gurabo/Caguas. Pretty place, with both indoor and outdoor seating. At night outside you get serenaded by a combination of canned music and the coquis (little Puerto Rican tree frogs that are everywhere). Food very nice, with a mix of Puerto Rican, Spanish and Portuguese flavors. Service very well done. read more

Overrated.... I'll start with the place which is really pretty, it's all wood and makes you feel in a really nice environment. The service was very good, and even though it was Sunday it wasn't full so we had a lot of attention. Now let's get down to business, the food. I ordered the Risotto Boricua that has churrasco (skirt meat), red peppers, and sweet plantain. The meat was cut into tiny cubes and it felt like eating ham, the risotto was a little dry and I think I only found like three pieces of sweet plantains or amarillos. Overall the food is okay, with and okay presentation, but the taste did not blowed my mind. Also I thinks it's a little overpriced for the quality. I don't think I'll go again for the food, maybe only for the place itself since it has an area for private parties. I do think the place has a lot of potential and it could be a hit but right now it is no the house of the risotto. read more
