Colorado Springs doesn't just make the list, it defines it. Year after year, the city earns top…read morerankings like #1 Most Desirable Place to Live (U.S. News), #1 Best City for New College Graduates (Zillow), and #1 Most Neighborly City (Neighbor.com). But accolades only scratch the surface. What truly sets Colorado Springs apart is its future. In 2024, it was named America's #1 City of the Future (CityLab), and it's easy to see why. Colorado Springs has evolved from a regional destination into a global city, welcoming newcomers from France, Australia, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Canada, Germany and even Ghana as well as California, New York, Texas, Illinois and beyond. Entrepreneurs, tech professionals, creatives, and military families are bringing diverse talents and ideas that shape the city's next chapter. Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods and The Incline remain central to its DNA, but Colorado Springs is increasingly defined by innovation. Ranked #2 for Up-and-Coming Tech Markets (CBRE) and #5 Best-Performing Large City (Milken Institute), the city is becoming a hub for aerospace, defense, clean energy, and cybersecurity. Its growing startup ecosystem was also recognized by Inc. Magazine as a top five city for entrepreneurs. Colorado Springs' appeal isn't just economic. It's the balance of opportunity, wellness, and outdoor living. Residents can hike Pikes Peak in the morning, work remotely in the afternoon, and enjoy dinner in Old Colorado City that evening. Neighborhoods from Ivywild to Banning Lewis Ranch are evolving with tomorrow in mind, while the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, Colorado College and Pikes Peak State College help fuel growing tech, health, and business sectors. A sense of community is equally important and ranked #1 for neighborliness by Neighbor.com because people genuinely show up for one another. Whether you're an artist from Austin, military retiree, or Silicon Valley coder, it seems like there's room for anyone's story here. Colorado Springs isn't simply adapting to the future, it is shaping it. The United States Olympic Headquarters and The Broadmoor symbolize commitment to world-defining excellence, while technology and military communities continue driving innovation. The result is a city blending modernity with authenticity: tech-forward, nature-filled, community-oriented, and rich with opportunity. The future doesn't seem like it's a distant vision. It's part of everyday life, and that's why people from across the country and around the world are choosing Colorado Springs as home.

Most of the houses in Colorado Springs have a shut off valve that turns off the water to the dishwasher and your kitchen sink. They now want a shut valve for your sink and another one for your dishwasher. This requires a plumber shut off the water to your house and install the extra valve. WHY! Who got paid off to pass this law so plumbers can make more money?
