New location is a mess and was provided horrible service. I took my vehicle for a single tire replacement--At first they informed me it would take around 1-2 hours to complete. I found that odd considering there was only 3 cars in front of me that they were already working on. 3 hours later and I still didn't hear anything from them. I had to go back and ask what the status was, all for Jacob to tell me that it was repairable and would take another 30 minutes for completion. I leave again and receive a call from Jacob to be informed that the tire is NOT repairable and would have to buy a new one, which is what I had originally thought to begin and let him know when I first dropped it off. Almost 4 hours later and it was completed, ALL for 1 tire replacement?! RIDICULOUS and horrible service all around. I tried multiple times to give them a call to check on the status and service dept never answers -- Goes straight to voicemail... The least they could've done was informed me that it would be a bit longer than expected. All I got was excuses from Jacob talking about "the equipment is new so it's taking them some time for the machines to work and have it dried out". At least be honest and give me real-time expectations. Additionally, as I was waiting for my car in the parking lot, the mechanics are just standing around talking, laughing, clowning around. While I understand vehicle maintenance may take time, that was unacceptable for a single tire replacement! Horrible service and I would not recommend to friends or family. Placed work order for headlight and daytime driving lights out on the driver side, and battery indicator dash light on, got a call saying it was done. While picking the car up I noticed the passenger daytime light was white in color, it should have been orange like the one on the driver side, 2015 Hondas have orange daytime driving lights. I called and talked to the manager and she didn't know what I was talking about, really? They did not troubleshoot the battery indicator light either. I went ahead and fixed the car myself. I leased a 2024 Honda Prelude Electric from Millennium Honda in Hempstead (286 Franklin Ave), and it has been a complete nightmare. My car has been in and out of the shop repeatedly, with no courtesy calls and no updates. When you call the dealership, the phones go straight to voicemail. There are no managers available, and no help from corporate or headquarters. Despite ongoing issues with the vehicle, they refuse to provide a rental car or any real assistance. They are quick to take payments and make promises, but the service after the lease is signed is terrible. This has been the worst car service experience I've ever had. I strongly recommend staying away from this dealership and being very cautious about leasing or purchasing a vehicle here.Please BE AWARE!!!!! This review is for the service department. Find another location if you can, or go elsewhere! I made an appointment in advance for a Thursday for some recall service that needed to get done. Making the appointment was light and easy and we were assured things would get taken care of. We dropped off the vehicle and were called a couple of hours later to inform is that we needed to pick up our vehicle and bring it back Monday because parts would have to be ordered in order to service it. Uhhh...they couldn't have figured that out earlier in the week after we called and set the appointment up and they looked up the recall?! Annoying! We made arrangements and my husband took off of work and everything to drop it off. We were prepared to leave it for 1-2 days as stated on the phone by Bobby - the technician assigned to us. Nonetheless we said fine. We decided to leave the vehicle there over the weekend so it would already be there Monday morning when the parts arrived and they could start working immediately. I kept calling on Monday for a status update and everyone kept giving me the run around and connecting me to Bobby's line (the service tech who was supposed to help us). We left voice messages. My husband called too. And NOTHING. Finally we decided to just go up there and pick up our vehicle because they're not doing anything but wasting our time and making things more inconvenient. We're not coming back here and I can't recommend that anyone else come either. So sad. And now I'm not able to drive my Honda because we don't want something to go wrong with me and my kids in it. For a mere oil change... I've scheduled oil changes for my minivan and my CRV. And yet, despite being scheduled, it takes over two hours. Once, I was told, "sir, the time you scheduled is the time for you drop off the vehicle, not for us to do the oil change." So, I left after two hours and it wasn't even pulled in to the garage yet. Rescheduled, and assured it would be prompt, it took 2.5 hours. Called this morning to schedule my new purchased CRV. "Oh sir, you don't need an appointment, we'll get you in the express lane." When I dropped off, I was again told 2 hours. And asked, "who told you express lane? I'm sorry, that's not possible." The inconsistency of this place is terrible. First, let me say we are Honda fans. In 2014, we were in an awful crash and walked away without a scratch. I believe a lot of that had to do with the build of the car, so we try to always stick with Hondas. My husband has a 2016 HRV and while we driving down Montana, the parking brake light and check engine light came on and started blinking red. We noticed his wallet had fallen on the parking brake button but it wouldn't release. With it being brake related, we went to the first Honda dealership we found. We pulled up to the service department and a gentleman told us he'd be right with us. I doubted it, as it looked like there were eight cars in front of us. About two minutes later, a man introduced himself as Bobby and asked us what he could do to help. We explained the issue and Bobby explained to us that it probably needed a hard reset and if it was more than that, it would need to be a couple day venture. He told us to give him a couple of hours and he'd let us know. I was dreading hundreds of dollars, because we all know it's always something bigger. About an hour and half goes by. He let my husband know it was a recall issue and we were all set! He was so friendly and we'll definitely be back. While waiting, we shopped the show room. I was declaring as we drove up saying we weren't buying a new car. The 2023 HRVs look so nice. Mr. Chris approached us and asked if we were shopping. I told him not at the moment. He offered us some information but at no time was pushy. I will absolutely go see him when it is time to purchase. Overall, it was an unplanned visit but thankfully, pleasant. read more

Worse customer service I ever experienced from a dealership. Every time I come here, I experience the same poor service. The service reps need to be trained on communicating with customers throughout the servicing process. A customer should not have call repeatedly call the service department to check on the status of their vehicle. And it would help if the service department answer the phones. My service rep called and left a message that my vehicle was ready and he was going to lunch for a hour (3:01pm). I arrived at the dealership at 4:05pm and Paul (service rep) was not around and no other service rep was willing to help out. Paul showed up around 5:05pm stating he was in a accident. And I do not know why they have a online request for services when you show up at the dealer, they do not know that you have a scheduled appointment and reason for appointment. I have a 2023 Civic Type R, and went to the service department to replace an unrepairable flat tire. The tire was replaced, but my rim was damaged in the process by El Paso Honda. I was not told of the damages until I later found them myself, and that was very unprofessional of this dealership. The rim is not simply scratched, it has several gashes. They offered to get it painted, but can only be done early Mondays. So now I have been driving around with a scratched rim for weeks because I work Mondays. I was driving my son back to Dallas for school and to attend my aunt's funeral in my son's Honda cross tour. Bad luck struck us when we stayed over in El Paso and the car wasn't working properly. We googled El Paso Honda and barely rolled in. Oscar Robles is the the service member who greeted us and scheduled us to get the car looked at. After hearing our situation, he went above and beyond duty to notify his manager and the staff to try to get our car looked at. As a team, Oscar was able to organize the diagnosis and to get the car fixed by 2:00pm! I cannot tell you how grateful I was to make it back on the road to make sure I could attend a funeral and to get my son back to school on time. I called on Thursday October 7th to make an appointment for Saturday October 9th. I kept getting transferred and they would tell me "I don't make appointments, let me transfer you to someone who does" only to start the process all over again. After about 30 minutes of this I luckily spoke to David who made an appointment for me. He told me they open at 7am on Saturday but the line starts at 6:45. He recommended I get there before 6:45, I said ok. I got to the dealership at 6:30, there was one car in front of me. 10 minutes later there were about 7 cars in line behind me. At 7:00 a car cut in front of me and everyone who was in line behind me. They opened at 7:03 and the lady drove her car in. They helped her. When the guy came to get my information I informed him that the lady cut me and all the cars behind me. I said it wasn't here since I was waiting here at 6:30 and she got here at 7:00. The guy said he would tell someone because he only does oil changes. I don't think he told anyone because they continued to work on her car. However, this dealership added on over 4,000 at the end for extended warranty and all the bells and whistles. Way more than any other place I've ever seen, that was over 25% the price of the car!! DON'T EVER PURCHASE EL PASO HONDA'S EXTENDED WARRANTY!!! The dealer Nor the MasterTech Vehicle Vehicle Protection Program will make the claim valid. I had an issue with the condenser on my 2020 VW Tiguan. The Technician told me that MasterTechVPP will not cover claim because the condenser was damaged by a bird and not by mechanical failure. The Financed Manager just bluntly said that even though I had purchased the warranty for situation like this, there was nothing they can do to remedy the situation. He said not to cancel warranty just in case if I needed it on the future. My response was " Why would I keep a warranty that will make it impossible to make a claim? Of course El Paso Honda was not happy that I ended up cancelling warranty. The finance person Enrique Medrano who sold me the warranty assured me at time I purchased that any repairs would be done at the facility. He was not too happy we cancel warranty either. I am a loyal lifetime Honda owner and dealerships like this are bad for the Honda name. They do not represent the quality standards that should be upheld by any Honda dealer. I took in my 2015 Honda Accord EX-L for what I know was not a major issue. I've owned nothing but Honda's and Acura's, all manual vehicles. This dealership tried to tell me they "recommend" replacing the full clutch assembly which was only one year old with less than 15000 miles on it. I did not have the time to diagnose the vehicle myself but knew it wasn't the clutch. They even had the audacity to tell me they could not diagnose the vehicle and I would not be charged but they still stood by there word that the clutch needed to be replaced, even the service manager told this to Honda Customer Service. All shady business practices so they can get as much money as possible from the customer. Ended up towing my vehicle again from El Paso Honda to Transmissions of El Paso and he fixed my vehicle in 2 days after finding the actual problem. The clutch master cylinder had failed and now my vehicle is back to 100%. I highly recommend finding a good mechanic in El Paso for your Honda and never trust this dealer with your vehicle. read more

I received 5-star service and I would gladly visit El Paso Honda anytime for future needs. I was about 20 miles from El Paso Honda when I ran over a large rock. I felt a jarring bump and heard a scrape, and figured I should check underneath my 2018 Honda Pilot for damage. As soon as I pulled over, I noticed fluid leaking from the undercarriage. Uh-oh. I called El Paso Honda and spoke to Fernie Dieguez, who said I could come right into the service center without a wait. Upon arrival, Fernie placed my Honda Pilot on the lift to assess the damage. In less than 30 minutes, I was shown the damage firsthand: there was no damage. Instead, the rock had likely jarred loose condensation from the A/C condensor I was able to visually see no damage myself. I asked Fernie to please rotate my tires while the car was on the lift, and this was completed within minutes. At the end, I asked Fernie what I owe him for service. Total charge? $0. I'm from another area, so I didn't buy my new Honda from El Paso Honda. But if this is the level of service I can expect in the future, I'll be sure to visit El Paso Honda and speak to Fernie anytime in the future.
