Calling E & R Automotive was the best decision my husband and I made. We live in California and my daughter lives in Fort Bliss, TX. After having her car towed to the nearest automotive shop ( also the only one on base) and dealing with the most unprofessional customer service and unreasonable prices (and the issue was not fixed) , I knew I had to find an automotive repair shop that we could trust. My daughter is often alone with her twin 2 year olds when her husband is on long term assignments so not having a car for emergencies or to do a grocery pick up is stressful. So when I first called E & R Automotive and explained our situation to Sergio, he was very friendly and understanding. I told him what my husband suspected was the problem---a fuel pump (my husband is a master technician, has 30+ years diagnostics & repair experience, and owner of specialty automotive shop in California). Sergio gave me an estimated quote and stated that they would like to make sure that the fuel pump was indeed the issue by doing a diagnostics test on the car. The quote he gave me was less than half the amount the aforementioned shop wanted to charge! My husband said the quote Sergio gave was about what he himself would charge for the same job. After my husband spoke to Sergio himself, he told me to call tow service and have my daughter's car towed to E & R Automotive. I shared with Sergio that we would be paying for the repairs over the phone (the other shop said they couldn't do that). He said that would not be a problem. This occurred in the afternoon yesterday. Today, I called to get an update and spoke to Eddie. Wow...Another friendly voice! He stated he planned on getting the car finished today. (It did need a fuel pump, by the way.) He said they were still working on it, but wanted to test drive the car to make sure the car ran good before they called us. The outcome..Eddie called me and told me the car is ready...took my payment over the phone (only a few dollars more than estimated quote)...and stated they would wait for my daughter to pick up her car. This is what good customer service is. They care about their customers and they are THE most affordable automotive shop from all the shops I called in El Paso. I took in my 2015 Audi to replace the motor mounts as the car began to shake and the noise was becoming a big issue. I looked at the reviews and thought they could get the job done. First I called in to get an estimated cost of the work that had to be done, Eddie has great customer service and was very straightforward, the next day I took it in to get it inspected to make sure that all my car needed was the motor mounts. After the inspection, Eddie told me they would order the parts and gave me an estimation of when the parts would arrive so I could take them back to get the work done. I took it in at around 9:30 am, they gave me a ride home, and the job was done by 3:30 pm. The work they did was great and I am very happy with the results plus they saved me money because I did not have to resort to taking it to the dealership. The only thing that I did not like as much is that the first time I took it in they used one of the paper floor mats but the second time (when they actually worked on the car) for some reason they did not and it left a few stains on my mat. I have to admit that my car was not squeaky-clean but I did notice the stains once I arrived home. Other than that I recommend you give them a call and they will work with you. read more

I got stranded going from California to Houston. Abel and his team at E&R bent over backwards to make sure I was taken care of. I wasted a lot of time and money taking my car to other shops who could not or would not perform service. Abel made sure I was taken care of right away! This shop has the capability to deliver quality service at volume. They were available at all hours to answer my questions and they even came in on the weekend to make sure I could get back to work in California as soon as possible. They even helped me book lodging in town and gave recommendations for food! If you are looking for an honest and hard working shop that can do it all, don't waste your time and money going to other shops! These guys really care and they go the extra mile. If you are stranded anywhere between Las Cruces and Van Horn (like me), these guys are the best, most prompt, most professional, most hospitable team you can work with, well worth the tow! I my son and I were traveling from California as he was moving to Austin, Texas. His car broke down on interstate 10 right outside of El Paso. We're basically stranded, we called and spoke to Eddie and he said to tow the the car in and they'll see what they can do to get us back on the road. Great customer service, honest and went above and beyond helping us get transportation to stay at a hotel as we were stranded. They spent extra time trying to fix and diagnose the car, which was greatly appreciated. It turned out that the car needed to be brought to the dealer and the engine had been under a recall. It would be replaced under warranty. All I can say is if you live in El Paso and need automotive work, these guys are the guys to go to and if you're traveling through and ever get stuck they'll be there to help you out. We called E & R automotive after our Dodge truck broke an idler arm and we were stranded on the freeway. They were the only mechanics that were willing to open their shop and repair our truck. We were towed by AAA, and in hindsight we would have chosen towing with E & R, as they also provide towing. E & R correctly diagnosed the problem and repaired our truck in just a few hours!!!! E & R was knowledgeable, courteous, honest, helpful and the repair was expedient! The price was less than going to the dodge dealership and days faster!!! I live in Cloudcroft, NM. Sun Desert Toyota, now Casa dealership in Alamogordo, couldn't schedule me for a 60,000 mile maintenance for 16 days out! So I looked around. Needed two repairs on my 2016 Nissan and the dealership had the nerve to quote almost 3k. So I looked around and saw that this shop had good reviews. Obviously the price they quoted sent me to them, but the people sealed the deal. Eddie is great and really helped me understand what I needed done and why it shouldn't wait any longer. I also wasn't expecting them to be able to help me that day. I thought I'd have to make an appointment. But Eddie and Andrew offered me a ride to and from work, even though it was about a 20 minute drive. The repairs were finished in good time. Everyone there is welcoming and polite. My car broke down on the road to El Paso. I took it to pep boys first and they were about to charge me an arm and a leg to fix a camshaft sensor and right passenger axel. Eddie from E&R not only got me in the same day instantly, but they completed my repair and demonstrated integrity in doing that which was actually needed in the repair. So my 5 stars go far. This team has excellent work ethics and they care about the work they do!. I recomend you give these guys a call. Great prices man, I got so much done. They worked on my rear main seal, engine mounts (and even when one was bad or wasn't fitting right they went over and beyond to find one that does), they also worked on my gaskets oil pan and transmission. Called on 4/20/22 for brake pads on my car. I received a quote over the phone which was quite reasonable. I was scheduled for 4/21/22 at 9:00 a.m. I showed up and immediately was greeted by the owner Eddie who said you're the one who needs the brake pads replaced. He made out a work order and included the quote. I left my car and by 1:00 p.m. I received a call saying the job was done.
