Menu is available on qr code but you can have paper if you prefer. We came on a Thursday night near 5pm. It was empty the whole time, but it seems a recurring theme on restaurant this summer so I won't judge on that. I tried the beef quesabirria. It's a soft shell tacos with a meat juice dip. My girlfriend took the birra chilaquiles. Overall it was good, but nothing that would make me come back. Both meal were pulled beef in the end and tasted exactly the same. I didn't get the dip thing with the tacos. The beef already taste like the juice (since, well, it's the meat juice) so it added nothing when I dipped it. The chilaquiles tastes exactly the same but with chips instead. It's suppose to have a green sauce (we did saw it) but couldn't saw there was a difference in taste. I also took a small chips and guacamole. It's wasn't bad, fresh, but it welt like it was missing some seasoning or something in the guacamole. Was a bit blend. Maybe pork or chicken would be better but we didn't try. All in all, it's not bad, I wouldn't say no if someone offered me food from there but it wouldn't be my first pick. If you are craving "Americanize" Mexican (usual tex me and such), this isn't for sure. It is not a 3 amigos or Carlos and pepes (which are worst in my opinion). I can't vouch for authenticity of the food according to Mexican cuisine since I don't know outside of Americanize one.

And I got my order very fast I got the mangonada as a drink and it was really good, they make it from fresh fruits from the bar which I loved, and it was made to order and not premade. I ordered guacamole and chips and also Picco de Gallo, to my surprise the portion of those were really small compared to other taco places that I've been, so it was abitt disappointing but it was good noneless. I also ordered the quesabirria, it came with 4 tacos and I was able to choose my meat, so I choose chicken and beef. This came with consomme, I also asked for salsa verde and they gave me 3 salsas which was nice of them.(the salsa was really spicy and good) I can say that the tacos were hands down really really good I definitely recommend this place highly for mexican food, I would definitely come back again for done in experience or even take out if I'm having a craving again.

The tortillas were soft you can pick between flour, corn, or, nachos, everything tasted fresh, no misses. The manager was also really sweet and welcoming. My go to is always the chicken tacos, but recently I've tried the bean tacos and they might be my new favourite. Their burritos come in 3 sizes with the big ass burrito being the largest and practically impossible to finish, after choosing your meet and veggies they even give the burrito a grill which is something you don't see often at chain burrito shops. And best of all it's super affordable The staff is always friendly even on a busy lunch rush. They always cater to any requests I've had to make and are happily smiling as you pass through. My only complaint for this place is that I wish the regular chicken had a bit more flavour or seasoning to it. Between the tacos burritos bowls and quesadillas you will defiantly find a reason to want to come back. Don't blame me if you start a taco addiction !

I've been to a couple of them, and this location is definitely one of my favorites, along with the Jean-Talon location. You know the food is good when everyone at the table goes quiet because they're too busy eating. This was actually my first time ordering La Toxica on Uber Eats since I live pretty far away, and even with a 75-minute wait, it was 100% worth it. The carnitas tacos are probably the best tacos I've had so far. I haven't found another place that does them quite like this. The al pastor is incredible too flavour-wise, it's hard to find anything that compares. I've tried a lot of taco spots around Montreal, and this is one of the closest experiences I've had to authentic Mexican tacos. I enjoy Three Amigos, but it's a completely different style of food. La Toxica feels like the kind of place where someone's mom or grandma is in the kitchen making recipes that have been passed down for generations. The Birria and the consommé is always packed with flavor. If you're not sipping the consommé after dipping your tacos, you're missing out. Highly recommended.
