Fix To Go's recent Yelp reviews were very good! So we quickly changed plans with AAA, and called ahead, explaining to Manager Bacardi the situation. He was straightforward with us, agreed with me on my guess (it was the starter), and gave us an accurate quote. Barcadi's team quickly sourced and replaced the starter, and noticed the brakes were in desperate need of pad replacement. The total price was not bad at all! When I picked up my car, they had even washed it and removed paint from the front end left after an unintended acceleration incident involving my garage door a few months earlier. I had previously taken the car to Wesley Chapel BMW--now part of Morgan Auto Group--for an inspection, and they did not remove the paint. They got busy and only had one technician. They asked if I could get the oil changed today and come back in the morning to get tires and alignment. I stated yes I would. On my 40 min drive home I started to hear a knocking sound. I had to pull over, my car started giving me an error saying to cut the engine off, need oil. I looked under the hood and there was oil everywhere, I checked under the car and oil was leaking. I checked the oil and not a drop was in there. Thank God I had two qts in the car.
