This is such a little gem in downtown Elsinore. An ice cream shop just opened down the street but I hope this place stays in business for a very long time. First, they have an incredible mural of historic downtown Elsinore on their wall inside the shop. Second, they raspados are AMAZING! The best ones out there in regards to flavor!! I've tried so many flavors at this point and they are all great. They also have tostilocos and other food items on their menu. I highly encourage everyone to support this business and have their raspados with ice cream on top. You will not regret. Also the girls that work in the shop are very nice! read more

I've been here a couple times and the elote in the cup is my favorite. They have thrifty ice cream, so if you love thrifty ice cream, and you arent near a rite aid this is one place to go. Because not only do they have ice cream they have other items that can fill your sweet and savory tooth! Elote was the reason why I came here, they are across the street from Michi's Tacos. I was in the mood for Michi's Tacos when I came across this gem. It was the first time my hubby and I came to this area. and since there was a wait for our yummy tacos we decided to walk around to kill some time. Im so happy we came here. Ok let's say this ... you get genuine Thrifty Ice Cream so a quart was definitely needed, it was only $6 and you can mix the flavors.

Being over a 110 degrees today, we decided to get some ice cream. This is definitely a small hole in the wall place. With authentic mexican drinks and foods. But they also have many different ice cream options. I decided to have a small (1 scoop) rainbow sherbert. It was inexpensive and tasted great. Service was fast and the guy working the counter was cool. Reason they lost a star was that it was hot in there!! Dont know if their ac was off, broken, or couldn't handle the heat. But the different buckets of ice cream were melting (slightly). Place didnt look the cleanest. Also it was really small and cramped. But since I didn't get sick, I would be back. It tasted great and I would love to try some of the other offerings they have on the menu. If your craving some ice cream or some mexican drinks/goodies, this is a place to try out. read more

Great little spot in old town Lake Elsinore. We parked in the free parking lot adjacent to the shops as it sits right in the middle. There aren't many places to sit inside so you may have to take your treats to go. The prices were actually less expensive comparable to places in Phoenix like I'm used to so, I was pleasantly surprised. We bought three large raspados with a hot Cheeto corn dish for less than $22. The hot Cheetos and corn was a generous portion as were the drinks. We enjoyed our ice cold refreshing fruit drinks so much we went back another time. They also serve Thrifty's ice cream. read more

Really tiny, hole in the wall place. Wonderful staff, great selection, reasonable prices. Keep in mind that this is a small business in historic Downtown Main Street and they are thriving. I've tried the raspados, fresas con crema (strawberries with condensed milk and granola), and their Thrifty Ice Cream mixed with their homemade ice cream as well. So, so good! Everything is so good here! The raspados are my favorite! The champina and tropical are my favorite!!! When I'm craving something milky the leche fresa one is bomb!!! It can get a little crowded due to it being so small but it is definitely worth the wait!!! read more
