We go there and or order out frequently. This order we ordered the panchos with fajitas and aguacate. The order was picked up and when we arrived home as we were preparing the food we noticed the nachos were served on pieces of chips to make up each nacho. The food looked like it was prepared previously on a previous order and given to us. The nachos, beans and cheese appeared old/not fresh. I would usually give this order a solid 8 and today's order a solid 5. Disappointed and hope the review helps. read more

Our son moved to Laredo and EVERY time we visit (regularly) it's our first and last stop. Other than your franchise restaurants, our only restaurant! Service is incredible, all the staff is available for anything you request. You'll NEVER get a, "I'll tell your waiter" response. Someone brings you the free chips and salsa, delicious.... Someone else yours drinks, someone else your food, everyone asks if you're doing well or in need of something. Never been disappointed. Our second trip, we were there for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Great Tex-Mex food with fast friendly service, free chips and salsa, family friendly place.

The place was crowded which instantly made me feel it would be delicious. I was so wrong , my son ordered an omelette with cheese in which they used a sandwich cheese slice to cover the top , the beans were dry ,and the egg was over cooked. The only delicious thing on his plate was the toasted bread. In addition, my husband ordered the steak and egg and BEWARE the steak is the worst. Tasted like water and just looked disgusting... the only accurate thing on his place were the eggs sunny side up. I ordered the chicken fajita tex plate and the chicken was rubbery and lacked flavor along with the beans which were still hard and unflavored. Last but not least we ordered pancakes which is the only reason we are giving it 2 stars. There appeared to be an attempt from our waitress's to assist us - however, she was handling so many tables that we were very forgotten and had to wait extremely long to receive our receipt to pay. My husband had to get up to the register to get someone to help him after a little under 20 minutes of no service. Will NOT recommend ,and will NOT return ever. read more

Pros: definition of good friendly service. Want nostalgia? Come here. The American dinner feel is definitely alive here and was nice and quiet for business meeting or meeting mom and dad for lunch: loved that! Chips and salas were really really good. Con: food. My fave place for breakfast with the one of the sweetest wait staff in all of Laredo. Since Covid, we have been just ordering to go. But if you choose to dine it they have plexiglass between each booth now and the staff uses tongs to give you the items and condiments. read more

I never write negative reviews. My experience here was awful. I was given the wrong order ( which is fine mistakes happen) after I was given the correct order the waitress looked at my empty glass and walked off. I sat there for 10 minutes waiting for a refill, so I finally got up myself and walked up front and asked for a refill ( was not that busy). After eating I put my debit card on top of my wallet on the table waiting for the check. After 10 or 15 minutes I gave up and walked up front to ask for it. Defiantly the worst dining experience I have had in 15 years of going to Laredo. read more

If you are in the mood for delicious Mexican food, you should come to El Querreque Grill. They have amazing wait staff who are ready to serve you. My waitress was Carmen ,and she was excellent. She made sure I had everything I needed before, during, and after my meal. The manager is always visible and greets everyone who walk through the door. Enjoyed breakfast with my cousin. The server (Maria Del Carmen) is the BEST! She continuously visited our booth to ensure we had sufficient coffee and water. The 2 egg special my cousin ordered looked delicious. My egg white omelet with cheese with toast was perfectly prepared. It may have been the best omelet I've ever tasted. Excellent customer service, every server and manager are at the top of their game! Went for breakfast and was not satisfied with the food. I ordered a Rajas, Chorizo, and potatoes plate. The Chorizo makes the meal and was quite bland. If it's made by them it seems they did not allow for the chorizo to marinate long enough. Otherwise they should make their purchase of Chorizo else where. Doubt that I'll be back soon. read more

The table salsa is very good. We had cheese and beef enchiladas and they were the standard run of the mill enchiladas. A little bit more pricey than other restaurants in the area. Service was blah, our waitress didn't know how to smile. Probably won't be back. read more

Stopped by to check out the new place, set up is the same as the old Danny's. Not sure if they just changed the name or management.. I ordered the lunch special enchiladas with mole sauce. Pretty good and surprising a lot of food for the price. I'm giving 4 stars because the server only knew Spanish and my friend had to translate everything. Overall, good food and clean. read more

Danny's in disguise. For the people of Laredo this place was a Danny's and although the name has changed it is basically the same. the menu differs a little from Danny's but not too much. Food, as with all Danny's, not great but the service and price are great. read more

The staff is very welcoming. Good atmosphere. The food was also good. I had the enchiladas callejeras and I was not too fond of it...it was good, but not great. My family had Ribeye and they loved it. I will definetly come back to try out that dish. read more

Food here is good. About average for Mexican fare. Same as Danny's only they changed it a little. Chilaquilles are 8 bucks and you can get them at Danny's for 5. Danny's are the same or better. Service is good. Food arrive fast. read more
