This place is perfect for those in a rush. The food is layer out cafeteria style and you choose a hat you want as you go down assembly line. We've ordered food from El Rancho Del Burrito through Grubhub. Last night was the last straw. My husband ordered 2 steak tacos. There was a tiny piece of meat on each with almost no cheese, cilantro or salsa. It was unreal! (He had other items too, they were fine.) His chicken & steak fajita plate was good. He was able to take meat from there, for his taco, but, the tacos should NOT have been left that way. read more

Very surprised to say that we enjoyed this place! Don't let the outside of the building deter you; it may appear to be a little rough around the edges outside but inside it's much more appeasing.. It's similar to a Qdoba set up; however, the menu is more advanced and the food taste much better. I had a grilled chicken chimichanga with rice and refried beans. It was really good and the queso it was topped with was even better! It had a nice spicy to it! My partner had a shrimp quesadilla and loved it! & Of course you cannot come to eat at a place like this and not have a Jarrito! Tamarind and pineapple = LOVE! Also, the bathroom appeared clean (very important to me). Overall, a very cost effective and yummy place to stop in for a quick bite to eat! When I want some tasty Mexican food this is my Bedford go to. It is not fancy, but the food is always good. It is a setup similar to a Chipotle, but with more offerings, and some of the meat selections being made at time of order. Their house sour cream is delicious. The food is great but you will be charged for any extras and the portions are tiny. For example a tablespoon-size dollup of extra guac is over $1. And be prepared for some grumpiness if you ask for anything on the side. Most of the workers are friendly but the owner has a lazer beam death glare that almost melted a hole in my sunglasses when I asked for extra Pico. For real though, if you want yummy food at cheaper prices and service with a smile go elsewhere. I like to support local business but the harumphy owner and high prices of this place has me jonesing for a Chipotle. It's Bedford though, so we'll get five more dollar stores and another pizza place before we get anywhere near a Chipotle or, open the heavens, a Chic-Fil-A. My friends and I affectionately call this place Taco Barn because the building rather looks like a barn. Kind of Baja Grill or Chipotle - style food, but more authentic. There are daily lunch specials that include a drink but you can't change them AT ALL or you don't get the lunch special price ( for instance if you ask for your burrito without the shell, it goes up to full price, even though you're saving them the cost of the shell.) They make their own sauces and the homemade ranch is great. Try to go on a Friday for the lunch special nachos with steak and shrimp. They are excellent! read more

Real Hispanic food! There aren't many Hispanics in Bedford so many "Mexican restaurants" advertise authenticity but provide no taste that matches such claims. However, this little restaurant with a rough exterior has surprisingly amazing food. The food is authentic and you can taste the difference in flavors with everything that is made. Met some colleagues for lunch while in Bedford and was I ever surprised. The concept is that of a Qdoba or Chipotle where you can pick what you want and how you want it topped. The difference, they have more options and the food is better! I had the Fiesta Nachos which is a hearty portion of chips topped with steak, chicken, and shrimp and then whatever else you want. The meat has a very unusual but delicious seasoning that knocks it out of the park. Don't skip the homemade sour cream. Tastes completely different than the stuff you buy in the store. The homemade ranch is supposedly the best, but I skipped it. As for salsa, I went with the medium but really felt it was more of a mild. If you like any heat, I might ask to try something different. This is located in the building that used to be the Breakfast Barn. We really didn't know what to expect when we went in the other day, but we were pleasantly surprised. I thought it would be like the other Mexican restaurants in town. If you like Moe's or Chipotle Grill..it is very similar. I love being able to build my own burrito...in addition to having other choices, as well. Everything was delicious. We had the the chimichanga and fajita nachos. The dessert was yum, too! This place is excellent! I was very surprised and pleased. The menu choice is great. A lot to choose from without being overwhelming. The food tastes great and the portion sizes are big. As for pricing it is definitely reasonably priced for the portions sizes they serve. I must admit it has become a weekly habit to eat here. Even great options for my kiddios! The staff is also very freindly. This is definitely a little gem and I have been going around bragging about the place. Tried for the first time, definitely worth checking out. Similar to a Chipotle or Qdoba but way more authentic. The options are endless, they even have Flautas! I had a shredded chicken burrito with refried beans and Mexican rice and it was great. My wife had the Flautas and they may be the best I've ever had. Don't let Bedford lose a gem like this!
