Meh!!! We came here for caldo de res but as we started to order there was no more caldo, so we ordered different food. I ordered the cheese enchiladas and the cheese was not melted at all the meal was Luke warm. My mother in law and tia both ordered the caldo de mariscos we also had to send them back because both bowls were also just Luke warm. While they were eating their caldo they over heard other waiters offering caldo de pollo and menudo. Upon hearing that they called the waiter over and asked him why he didn't offer those options, his response was " well all you asked for was caldo de res". Really?!? I'm sure they have had better days and much more informed waiters but today was not that day. read more

Our servers name was Robert he was great he told us the specials and they sounded good. I ordered tampiquia which was good. The law ordered the enchilada combo. she tore up the enchiladas but didn't like the carne quisada so I ate it. I liked it. thank you Robert it was awesome read more

They pretend to speak no English. I have been going for years and today is the last time I will go. They messed up my very simple order 3 separate times, offered no apologies, and charged me full price anyway. This USED to be a great place to eat but not anymore. Our wait before we got our food was 45 min. We were very disappointed with our plates. Enchiladas were super greasy and had no flavor. Rice was hard and dry. Beans were salty. Don't waste your money. We paid $24 for both plates that were horrible tasting. Regret eating there. read more

We went for breakfast. The food was not only bland but barley cooked. Service was a joke, the waiters came to our table only twice and it took 35 minuets to get our food. There where only 12 other tables with people but the staff spent more time chatting to each-other than servicing customers. I know why they are open 24/7. I have NEVER left a negative review on yelp but I ordered Chile con queso, a potato egg & cheese taco and a bean egg & cheese taco. I told the waiter I don't eat meat, he understood that. I was eating my bean, egg & cheese taco when I bit into full strips of bacon. I told the waiter and he just said the chefs didn't tell him there was bacon in the taco. Also waited 30 mins for water and queso and had to ask twice for a water refill after 20 mins. I don't recommend this place to anyone. read more

So I've only ever had their botana and it was provided by my work as an associates lunch but, the botana is very very good! If you get the botana for two it is more like a botana for four or five. The portions are huge! The food is really good and their salsa is delicious. Next time I don't feel like cooking at home I will be ordering a botana for two for the family! read more

I've been to this restaurant 3times in total I'm actually righting this review at the restaurant right now because I am just so discussed and disappointed. The menu is all over the place and really overwhelming, there is just way too many things that don't even need to be on the menu. We ordered drinks and there was already (hopefully pulp) at he bottom of the drink. The whole place isn't very pleasing to the eye but I feel like if a restaurant has good clean food and good service then the outside doesn't matter. I love the atmosphere this place has there are original paintings decorating just about every inch of the walls. More then often they have Spanish music playing in the background. Its usually a very busy restaurant with a lot of tables. However at times during a lunch rush it can get so packed that finding a comfortable place to sit can become troublesome. Especially because some of the tables are a little too close together. As far as the food goes its pretty good Tex-Mex food. You can get a lot for very little money. However there are times when the quality varies. I've notice that the service and the quality of food goes down from time to time during there busiest hours. But the waitstaff are always friendly and continue to check up on you even when they seemed to be overwhelmed. read more

I went the other day and ordered Fajita al carbon. The meat was salty and smelled like mildew. You could tell they tried to cover up the smell with salt and pepper. When I spoke to management, she said that's how the grill smelled and noting was wrong with it. Worst service ever. Not even worth one star. read more

I came here with my boyfriend at around 3am. I don't know if the time of day had anything to do with the poor food quality, but I was very disappointed. I had the chicken enchiladas and they tasted alright. I felt that there was no substance in the inside of the enchiladas. The rice and beans were very dry. My boyfriend had a breakfast taco with bean, bacon, and egg. He said that the bacon was very fatty, and he ended up taking it all out. It is always packed here and noisy, I will never order breakfast items they always overcook bacon and eggs. But aside from that their food is inexpensive and tastes great, especially the quesadillas they are huge and delicious with lots of cheese and fajita.
