El Rincon Oaxaqueño is a restaurant and food truck that serves authentic cuisine from the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. At the 2025 Pittsburgh Taco Festival, I was a customer of their food truck, which offered tacos, tostadas, nachos, churros, plantains, street corn, and agua fresco. Please note that the restaurant serves many additional foods, including quesadillas, burritos, enchiladas, rice and beans, tres leches, flan, etcetera. At the taco festival, my husband and I bought the nachos and the churros. The prices were average, and the employee's service was very good. We liked the flavors of our nachos and churros.

Had your food from the food truck here in greenfield tonight. Absolutely delicious! Amazing presentation! 10/10 Also the sauces were super good!

So traditionally pretty inside! Food is good and service is great. I got tacos of steak, carnitas, and pastor. My favorite was carnitas. I also had a coffee that had a great smell, a hint of some kind of spice that I couldn't tell what it was. The quesadilla was huge! It's BYOB. Overall, such a hidden gem and it is a must try Mexican place in Pittsburgh!

Their food truck was at the Carnegie museum for the free inside out event - which was amazing. The food was fresh and delicious and tasted very authentic. Had the 3 tacos and the nachos. Glad they were there and the food hit the spot - we were starving!

Excellent. I've been hearing about the food truck for a while now, and it's great to see that they now have a brick and mortar destination. We ordered takeout, and every item we ordered was well packaged and well presented. I especially appreciated that the menu included a few items you don't see in many other places (e.g., huaraches). They make a point of having a few different vegetarian fillings for various items, but several items don't offer a vegetarian option and easily could (e.g., enchiladas). In terms of the details, the chips were the kind of thin restaurant variety that I enjoy but still had enough structure to hold some guacamole. We got two different salsas with our order: a verde and what I assume is their medium salsa. Both were nicely flavored and distinct. The huaraches isn't something I had seen in the past, and it almost seemed like some sort of pizza on a thin corn-based flatbread with refried beans and other toppings. It's certainly worth trying. The tostada wasn't what I was expecting. It was very nicely presented in a stacked arrangement (one tostada on top of the other), and they weren't overloaded with toppings. The mayonnaise listed on the menu was a little disconcerting but it really melded into the overall dish. We also got a spread of three different tacos: one each of the vegetarian options. The tacos were good, but were really upleveled with some extra toppings (extra salsa, sour cream, lime, etc.). That's basically the whole idea behind tacos. In general, this was a great place. The food was good. It was easy to place an order online. It was easy to find parking nearby. Great option for picking up some Mexican takeout with a touch of a regional flair.

Delicious! Very happy this new restaurant opened up close to my home. You can tell this family run restaurant makes everything with love.Service is excellent. My husband got 3 tacos with 3 different choices. I had that huevos rancheros! I just wish the chips and salsa was complimentary

Yup. Thats all you need. Great quality and seasoned meat and soft tortillas. Now I do wish they use two shells perfect tacos because these suckers are juicy and def need them Don't get crazy with your tacos, get whatever they recommend and keep it as traditional as you can

My husband loved his pork and chorizo tacos. He thought the barbacoa was dry.

We were so excited when we heard their food truck was coming to our neighborhood. They were such lovely people too. My husband loved that he could try multiple proteins in his tacos. Not all places let you do that. He loved the chorizo and pork the best. We both felt the Barbacoa was a bit dry. I had the barbacoa in my burrito. Next time, I'll try the chorizo burrito. Everyone really enjoyed it. I think everyone liked them the best and we had several food trucks come this summer. Go check them out. They're great.

El Rincon Oaxaqueno "hidden place like a haven or retreat" I believe this is the translation. Finally an Authentic Mexican food in Pittsburgh with tasty hot and spicy sauces RARE find! I sampled each of the sauces. the green was more mild, the mole was rich, a medium red, then the BLAZING HOT RED, mmm, that had a kick! "I could feel on my lips for 5 min" This food is very similar to places in Mexico and Western States. My meal consisted of their burrito with shredded chicken which satisfying to my spice starved palate! The atmosphere is simple with fresh bright colors customary to cafes in the Mexico. I also found it interesting that they have a BYOB sign on the door as you enter! They also have 2 food trucks, which can be scheduled in advance for your events! My husband and I found the owner very friendly and passionate about her food. The server was prompt, helpful and when asked which was her favorite meal she said the enchiladas! Sadly my corn allergies prohibited that, yet I did try the enchilada sauces and WOW, I wanted to cry because they were delicious and reminded me of my home in So.Cal, where Mexican food was a staple of my diet. I no longer need to wait for a Mexican vacation or my visit back to my hometown. If prefer bland and boring food this may not be the place for you, unless you omit the best part the sauces. If you love eating fresh food with homemade sauces that have flavor I can recommend trying them out!

This food truck has some of our favorite tacos in Pittsburgh. They're so simple and authentic. We really liked the steak and al pastor tacos. They were so flavorful and they have sauces on the side you can add for some more kick to them too. I like how add grilled scallions and radishes to your tacos as well. They are a bit on the smaller side so I would get 3 for a meal. We also got a burrito and while it was huge, it wasn't as good as the tacos. The guys who run the truck are really friendly and the prices are good! Go check them out for some dang good tacos.

I was very excited to try El Sabor based on the several high reviews, but I was a bit disappointed. Maybe I set my expectations too high? The food was pretty good, but the meat to veggie ratio was way off for the fajitas I ordered. I ordered the trio fajitas (chicken, steak, & shrimp) and asked to only do the steak & shrimp, and to just do bigger portions of those two instead of having the chicken. There was barely any steak, and just a huge amount of peppers & onions. I don't mind paying $20 for decently portioned fajitas, but I was pretty disappointed that there was barely any meat. I would have liked more shrimp on there as well. I'm left with mixed opinions honestly. It wasn't necessarily a bad experience, just a little disappointing. Most folks seem to love it, so I'd say to leave it to your own judgment and give it a try!
