I have been to this place years ago, so it was nice to see that they had renovated the place & It was really beautiful. It felt very native. I ordered two bean and cheese pupusa's, which came with coleslaw and salsa. It was really good but it was a lot of cheese I would've ordered 1bean& cheese and one bean next time it was really good it was hot and fresh. I got a side of avocado and some chicken enchiladas. I will definitely be back she let me try the Horchata which was very nice and spicy maybe next time. ;))

Took my little sisters to eat and a lady with blonde hair with glasses was so disrespectful started accusing me of doing stuff , telling me she mistaken me with somebody else that was sitting infront of her yet she was sitting right there where she said the girl was supposedly sitting that she confused me with , how do you mistakenly confuse me if i was with my sibilings she came running to me when i was leaving asking to see my phone. Utterly disgusting behavior coming from someone older than me , Please be careful and mindful because who knows what shes up too!

Found another hidden gem. Eventhough I ordered to go the people who were seated I saw that thier food looked good. I ordered 2 pupusas. A pupusa is a thick flatbread from El Salvador made with cornmeal or rice flour, similar to the Venezuelan and Colombian arepa. It is usually stuffed with one or more ingredients. These may include cheese, chicharrón, squash, or refried beans, such a delicious simple meal. The waitress was extremely sweet and accommodating. Everything on the menu looked reasonably priced. I'm hoping to come back soon to this restaurant to sit and eat an entree because it is seriously authentic and the pupusas with the vinaigrette slaw was delicious.

I can begin this by sharing that I really enjoyed the food! It is a local place that has moved into this bigger space and rightfully so. You know I love to supper a local business and this place was good. Came here for a Sunday lunch with my family, we were seated quickly and the place was buzzing. There were people at every other table and it was groups from families with kids, some teens and groups of adults. We ordered our drinks which were truly a Large. Huge cup with lots of Horchatta to enjoy. Then we ordered Yucca w/ Chicarron, Pupusas, Mixed Plate and the Churrascos plate. The food took about 15 minutes to come out no complaints as I enjoy fresh hot food and it did not disappoint. The pupusas were the star of the show along side the Chicharron and churrasco. The rice and beans were nothing spectacular but they weren't bad either. The price was about right all the food considered and it made for a great Sunday afternoon meal with the family. I would only say I wished they had more servers as it was evident when it got full there was more work than hands to attend but that isn't a deal breaker. All in all I give it 4/5 stars and recommend it to you if you want authentic Spanish food from Central America.

UPDATE: came back the very next morning for breakfast. Loved it. I ordered El Desayuno Salvadoreño (Salvadoran Breakfast), which is tortillas, plantains, scrambled eggs, and beans. Delicious. Everything, including coffee, for under $10. I've never been to a restaurant that's open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. But they seem to have a steady customer flow, day and night, and a reliable and attentive staff. Whatever they're doing, they should keep doing it. Reasonably priced. Absolutely delicious food. Highly attentive service. Convenient location on Broadway in Newburgh, New York. What's not to like about this restaurant? I ordered the "plato mixto," which is various grilled meats served with beans, rice, and salad. Everything was cooked to my liking. I'll definitely visit this restaurant again and again.

Grilled steak, rice, beans, salad and tortillas. Typical Salvadoran lunch.
