Love the decor, so clean and colorful!

Such a great spot! The location has street parking and surface lots, plus a great front patio that likely sees a lot of use during the summer. There are two entrances, with the front having a staircase. The rear entrance has ramps and looked more accessible. We were greeted right away by most of the servers and sat in a comfortable booth. There are seating areas that look good for groups as well as cozy couples. You can also consider a seat at the bar to watch all of the kitchen action. Chips and salsa were provided as soon as we sat, with drink orders made shortly thereafter. No prices were listed for the margaritas, oddly enough. Are they gratis? *shrugs* Smokin'Hubster ordered a massive burrito (macho?) with beef, chicken and shrimp. I had the tacos el pastor with a side of rice and beans. Neither of use finished lunch because the portions were huge. The food was very fresh. I loved the mixed veggies in the rice, they added some great color. I appreciated the soft corn tortillas, they gave the tacos a rustic mouthfeel and flavor. BONUS: Both the chopped onions and the minced cilantro were served on the side, very thoughtful for folks that aren't fans of them. Our server was super attentive, the bathrooms are really clean and nice, the whole restaurant is well-lit and warmly decorated. We were super happy with lunch and we'll be back to try more menu items.

Super food and wonderful service. Drinks were delicious and food was top notch. I love Mexican cuisine and was looking for a quick bite close to our campsite. We biked here, walked in and had a lovely meal. It doesn't have a huge selection but everything they make tastes great, authentic flavor and spices. I was impressed with the quality of food. Taco wrap was amazing. Stop in and be ready for a nice surprise.

AI wings... I thought we were above that?

It's difficult for me to reconcile the things I didn't like with the things that I did like. The food was good, and they had decent variation in their menu. Our server was nice, but everyone else seemed winded from the end of the day. The place was clean, well decorated, and although small, made good use of the space with two stories of seating including outdoors. However, as I've mentioned in my other reviews, accessibility is very important to me--27% of people in the US report having a disability, so I struggle to understand how we are not more accessible as a country. At this location: - there does appear to be a steep ramp in the back with a door that does open outward. I did not take this ramp, I do not know where it leads, I simply know it is there. Win. - there are several illuminated neon signs throughout the building, including in the bathrooms, that flicker at a rapid pace like an EEG. I understand this adds to the modern bright vibe. For me, it was unpleasant. Not quite enough to be "seizure-inducing," but I don't speak for everyone with a photosensitivity. - the bathrooms were in a corner, blockaded by a chair. - should this chair be moved, the doors opened outwards, a dark restroom with the neon light. I turned the overhead light on so the flickering wasn't so bad. The paper towel, soap, sink, and light switch are really high. - the bathroom door got stuck on my way out. I had to kick it three times. Not for the weak of ankle or wrist. - did I mention the stairs? If you don't take the ramp, tons of stairs in this place. It's cute and a good way to maximize human storage, but the lack of viable seating on the bottom "floor" means it fills up quick and if it's busy, there might be nowhere to sit but on top. - the AI wing-swing is gross It's cute, it's cliche, it's clean, it's pretty, it's modern. But there are things that were overlooked in the process that made it unwelcoming for some visitors :(

Quesabirria tacos (3)- quite filling! The birria broth is delicious.

My first time here! I don't know what's taken me so long. It was great! I had the quesabirria tacos which includes the birria beef broth for dipping. Omg. Sooo good! I was over-stuffed after 2 tacos. Don't you worry-I ate most of the third. I should've taken it to go. The drinks are fresh and different. We really enjoyed our time! I'm excited to return with my husband. He's going to love it!

FIRE! The skinny marg was so good, topped with a dehydrated limes and salt on the rim!

Best margarita I've ever had, and I can say the same for the steak tacos. A wonderful atmosphere and dining experience. I'm pretty stunned to say my favorite and I eat a lot of tacos D

It's an authentic New Mexican restaurant with upscale type decor and upbeat Mexican music playing! I went for a late lunch so it wasn't too busy. The food was average. I got 3 crispy flat tacos - can't remember what they were called- with chicken, avocado, red onion, cheese & cilantro. The avocado was somewhat brown and the cilantro was tasteless. I love cilantro and I really wanted them to taste good. The sauce that came on the side was dark and just very salty. It didn't do anything for it. I liked the crunchy corn shells although it was difficult to eat! I got a draft beer with it, small $5. Couple next to me had 2 martinis for $27! The waiter accidentally gave me their check. I really wanted to love this place but it was only average!

Delicious new Mexican restaurant in Marquette! The food was so good. The service is VERY GOOD and the staff is most attentive. The restaurant is beautiful and clean. I hand the Santo calamari and quesabirria tacos. Both dishes were delicious! I also had one of the margaritas which was also delicious.

Great food, pricing quality and quantity. I loved the ambience here & the seating outside was very nice. It was well kept and workers were clearly passionate and working hard to provide great service. Very communicative & bring out crunchy chips and flavorful salsa! Food wise, personally, their birria tacos could be cheesier and the birria itself could've had a stronger flavor, but the 2 other sauces elevate it enough to where that wasn't an issue for me. Definitely the best birria option around here though. Their use of pineapple and chorizo is exquisite! I am feeling extra zesty after a fat bite I for sure will be returning and trying more. The wait wasn't bad but could be better. Although it was on Labor Day so who am I to complain

Mexican food is my favorite and I'm so happy that we have another Mexican restaurant in town. The vibes in this place are amazing, I love the decor and atmosphere so much. Chips and salsa are wonderful and the wait is never too long, even when busy. Prices are a little steep, but that is every place nowadays. My only critique is I wish that some of the tacos came with a side sauce or a side of rice without having to order it as an extra. But have never been disappointed in the taste of the food.

Very expensive for marginal Mexican food. Drinks crazy expensive by Marquette standards!

Great food and fast. Being from Chicago I did not expect to find this level of Mexican cuisine in Marquette. This place is a solid home run
