Great place, great Puertorrican food and great service. I got seafood rice and cuajitos. It sounds like a weird mix but as I saw it on the food line I started craving it. I feel I could share the amount of food that I but since I was by myself, I just sat there and tried to eat it all but still had some left overs. It was delicious and as I was trying to wiggle myself out of the chair because I was so full, one of the guys told me to sit down again and brought me a piece of cake, I can never say no to cake so took it and I don't regret it. This is probably the best Puerto Rican food I have tasted in the area of Ocala. All the food have amazing flavors it makes you want to eat more. They serve you a significant amount of food with no problem. The staff are always smiling and very polite. Great special for everyday of the week. If you decide to go, go for the food, not the decor or the location. This is not the place to go to be waited on and the food brought out to you. It has more of a cafeteria feel. Once you look past that, the food is delicious! I had the Octopus, Conch and Shrimp Salad with Tostones and a side of guineos en escabeche. Tried this place while working in Marion County and it was a really good meal, huge portion of food for about $8.50, rice and peas was perfect and the roast pork was flavorful and moist. Tried the tres leches and loved it! Staff was super helpful and nice, they have daily specials as well as standard menu items that they don't keep out in the display case so it was confusing at first. read more

Me and my love were just passing through on our way home and decided to try this place. My biggest regret is that we live 2 hours away. We had Monfongo that was done of the best I have ever had, the roasted pork is also superb. We dont eat a lot of sweets it we could not pass up the plethora of pastries fresh baked in house. Was craving Puerto Rican food and found this place online. Went there with two friends and it was the best experience we have had since moving to Ocala from Miami. Food delicious and reasonably priced, good background music, prices very reasonable. Drove several miles to get there from my home in the Ocala National Forest but will do it again every time I can. The employees were so friendly, specially Jorge. The murals on the wall were so uplifting. In our pictures they look like we are walking thru the real Old San Juan. Love the place!! read more
