    Assorted Pal Campo

Beautiful restaurant - I wish I had taken more photos inside but the place was packed (a good sign) and I try not to take pictures of random families and post them online. With that said, the food was excellent and there's a ton to choose from - it's easy to get overwhelmed, but the thing I enjoyed the most was the service and how sweet our server was (I forgot her name, but she was always so sweet and patient with our family). There were tons of folks eating mofongo so I'm sure that's a fan favorite here. We tried a few appetizers, juices, rice and beans, and shared a large platter that had multiple options for the family since it was our first visit and we didn't know what to try first. The tostones rellenos de churrasco (skirt steak stuffed fried green plantains) were delicious and come with five little cups and a dipping sauce that I'm pretty sure was mayo/ketchup. They also put a little PR flag on top which my kids enjoyed playing with. This ended up being my main meal because I wasn't that hungry, and it was the perfect bite of crispy, salty, and creamy with the dipping sauce. We also tried another appetizer that I didn't try, alcapurria de carne, which comes with two rolls cut in half (husband enjoyed it) and the Assorted Pal Campo which comes with chicharon, fried yuca, chicharron de pollo, tostones, fried cheese topped with a sweet guava sauce (that my daughter was not a huge fan of - I would ask for it on the side next time), and sausage. Definitely a heavy meal - and I felt like I needed to eat salad for the next two days straight after this meal - but it was tasty. Next time I'll ask for a side of cucumbers or something to break up all of the fried elements, or order something that comes with slaw/veggies.

Absolutely loved this place! The service was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. Johanna our server was amazing! Ambience is super casual. The Latin music was awesome and played at enjoyable volume. You can really tell the food is made fresh, and it makes all the difference. The beef empanadas appetizers were yummy! My husband had the steak with onions and he said it was incredibly delicious and packed with flavor. I had the shrimp mofongo that was just as tasty. My son of course had chicken fingers with fries and it came with cookies and a yogurt. The presentation was very cute. His meal was served on a metal school lunch tray. Everything came out perfectly cooked and full of authentic flavor. The coconut flan was superb! Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to eat at when I visit Orlando again!

Every time we come to Orlando, this Puerto Rican restaurant is a must! We've been coming here for years, and it truly feels like being back to PR. From the moment you walk in, the service makes you feel like family, and the flavors are always on point. The decor is like the streets of old San Juan, which makes you feel more like at home. This time we had the crab alcapurrias, crispy bacalaitos, empanadillas de pulpo and tostones stuffed with octopus which were delicious. The octopus was incredibly tender, some of the best I've ever had. The kids' menu is another huge plus. For under $15, it includes a meat, two sides, a drink, and even a small dessert. My daughter had chicken tenders with arroz con gandules and fries, and the whole meal was about $11. It is a great value, especially in the Disney/Orlando area. The drinks are great too, very generous pours just like when you visit the island ;) We don't have any Puerto Rican restaurants where we live, so this place is always a special reminder of home. We'll definitely keep coming back every single time we're in the area. Highly recommended if you are looking for a pedacito de Puerto Rico in the middle of Orlando.

Pal Campo is a place with a nice ambiance and friendly service. The food is good and definitely worth checking out. This particular location is in a shopping plaza, so parking won't be an issue. I would recommend here if you are in the area.

We went for a business dinner with over 20 people. It was an amazing experience the puerto rican decor was beautiful and made me think of our beautiful island. The service was amazing and the food well it was delicious and made us to feel like we were in Puerto Rico. When in Orlando please stop by you will not be dissapointed!

The food was amazing, it really feels homemade ... mofongo, carne frita, bistec Bacalaito --- everything was really good ... the beer Ñeña is really good I got the draft and it's more than enough ... I am happy I came to this place. I definitely recommend this place. The portions are very generous as well as the drinks ... yes I am coming back

Good was amazing and portions were generous. Service was amazing and the ambience makes you feel like you're on the island. Details to good and atmosphere was amazing.

Pina Colada and Passion Fruit drink

I came here with my mom to have drinks. The pina colada was creamy and my mom had a passion fruit drink that she said tasted so fresh. You also get to keep the cup, which for the price of the drink definitely is a nice touch. The aesthetic is also beautiful it's like a cute little PR. Our server was helpful and recommended drink options.

Was really excited to check this place out as I love Latin food. Overall thought this place was a bit disappointing. Service was poor. Took a while just to get water and plates and utensils. They forgot one of my dishes and tried to charge for it... Thankfully I caught it on the bill. Ambience was cool! Loved the music but it was a bit loud so we couldn't hear each other. Food itself was ok. -Mofongo was overcooked / too hard. -Chicken seafood dish also had chicken that was insanely tough but the seafood and sauce were good. +Only redeeming factor was the appetizer. = Kids steak was decent but not the medium rare we requested. Should've looked at yelp reviews first!

My family and I stopped to dine in while on vacation. Our large group of 10 was sat within the first 10 minutes of entering the restaurant. The place is beautifully decorated, great island music played at all times, making it suck a vibe. Staff was amazing and very accommodating. The food portions were very generous and everything looked and tasted great. I found it a bit too warm inside the restaurant, to the point where sweat was rolling down my back, and that's the only reason why I'm rating it 4 stars. Being uncomfortably hot kept me from truly enjoying my meal and the place.

I would highly recommend this place. The last two times I have been in Orlando I have chosen this place thru Yelp w/o realizing that I had been here before. Each time I was genuinely pleased with the outcome!

Music, lights, and dinner--GO! Very fun place to come with friends and family and in the mood for some good Puerto Rican food. The service was great, and the drinks flow nicely. Brought the family here after a long day of fishing and it did not disappoint. We stuffed our faces with some traditional appetizers: alcapurrias and tostones rellenos, and a few traditional plates: chuleta kan kan, and mofongo. Definitely excited to come and hit this place next time we're in the area.

You order at a kiosk fast food style, but all of the food is then prepared freshly and authentically. They have a huge menu with all kinds of delicious Latin eats like sandwiches and platters. We absolutely loved our Cuban sammies which came on thick and sweet bread. My kids kept it simple with tenders and fries and also enjoyed! They have a big drink selection and you can find everything from juices to fresh cocktails. The biggest hit was their large indoor screened patio - perfect for my kids to run around. The empanada came LOADED with shredded beef and this empanada didn't skimp out on quality. It tastes so good when you dip it with the green sauce and it was chef's kiss. I think this is the best empanada I ever had and when I tried other empanada, it doesn't even compare to this. I ordered another dish but I forgot the name and it's soo good. I was a little disappointed because the menu said pick 3 sides and I chose all beef. Alfredo didn't mention to me that there would be an additional charge for the beef. As a result, I had to pay an additional $10 which was very pricey and didn't find out until I received my bill and saw the charge. I didn't make any complaints because the employees seem not to speak English well and it's hard to be a foreigner trying to adapt to the culture and the language. But this is soo good and I can see why the reviews on yelp are all stellar.

I live close, so have come here quite a bit over the year…read more Pro- Just got renovated, so it looks pretty. The staff is nice, and the food is good. They also have lunch specials, which is nice. Cons- There is ALWAYS a weird perm smell when you go. It literally smells like someone is perming their hair, so not good. Another con is sometimes it takes long to get your food. And last but not least, I think their prices are not reasonable lately. Some of the prices do not match their menu, not sure when they raised their prices but I have never ever heard of a patacon costing almost $26 anywhere, and I frequent a lot of Venezuelan spots. Their name went from Q'Kenan restaurant to Q'Kenan Steakhouse so maybe now they just raised all the prices, I don't know. Their most expensive patacon on the menu is the one with Picańha and it says $17...yet I got charged 25.90. Regardless of how good something is, there shouldn't be a $9 difference from what is on the menu. That is absurd. On my last trip- $43 for an empanada, tequeńos and a patacon just doesn't sound right for Venezuelan food, and I come from living in Miami where restaurants are supposed to be more expensive. Add a tip and you're paying over $50 for street food. That's wild.

The atmosphere is absolutely ridiculous in the best way possible. Giant trees growing through the dining room, Puerto Rican music, island vibes everywhere, and a massive video wall projecting beautiful scenes of Puerto Rico that make you start checking airline prices before dessert arrives. Now let's talk about the food. The portions at Pal Campo don't come on plates they come with a warning label. The appetizer platter looked like it was designed for a family reunion. Alcapurrias, bacalaítos, yuca fries, tostones, chicharrón, carne frita, and enough food to make me question every life decision involving portion control. I ordered one thing and somehow received enough food to survive a hurricane season. The mofongo was so big it looked like it had its own ZIP code. The arroz con gandules was fantastic, the carne frita was perfectly seasoned, and everything tasted like someone's Puerto Rican grandmother was hiding in the kitchen making sure no one left hungry. And can we talk about that TV wall? I have no idea how many inches it is, but I'm pretty sure NASA can see it from space. Watching the beautiful scenery of San Juan while eating authentic Puerto Rican food almost had me convinced I was on vacation. What impressed me most was that no expense was spared making guests comfortable. The restaurant is spotless, the seating is spacious, and the entire place feels like a celebration of Puerto Rican culture. Miami has some great Latin restaurants, but finding a Puerto Rican restaurant with this combination of authenticity, atmosphere, and portions is rare. Pal Campo doesn't just serve food they serve an experience. Final verdict: Come hungry. Bring friends. Wear stretchy pants. And don't make dinner plans afterward because you'll still be full sometime next Tuesday. 5/5 Stars Pal Campo isn't a restaurant it's a Puerto Rican vacation with free parking.
