I realize the restaurant just opened a few days ago but i didn't care for their dinner options. I like rice and refried beans sides and only one dinner came with the sides i mentioned. All the other plates stood by themselves no sides. All sides it appears are extra. My wife's vegetable chimich anga was much too salty. i was hopping for a better restaurant than the previous restaurant in this location. No such luck. We won't be back. Stopped in for dinner while passing through Rochelle, Illinoid. Surprisingly excellent. Chips were warm when served, salsa was THICK, adorned with salsa verse and just the right amount of spicy. Had three soft shell flour tacos. And they let you mix and match! I had two grilled chicken and one ground beef taco. The taco shells weren't the tiny size either. Lively decor and good traffic on a Thursday evening. Servers were polite, courteous and fun. Very good value. read more

We've eaten here multiple times. For starters, the size of the menu is overwhelming. There are so many items it's hard to navigate. My tacos were pretty good, but my husband did not like his meal. The rice is bland. The chips and salsa were fine because sometimes you get a good batch and sometimes they're not fresh. The service is always pretty good. I had a very delicious watermelon margarita. If you want something simple like tacos this place is good, but if you're looking for more a Mexican style dishes it's very hit or miss. read more

Gluten Free Review (For those of you looking for it) So I've only been here once so far but I plan to make this a go-to eatery. Their selection is about what you'd expect, however I don't frequently eat Hispanic food so I'm not the best judge The reason I'm leaving 4 stars is the fact that they were perfectly capable of accommodating my allergy and their interior. The interior of this place is colorful and vibrant, and there's a few small details my girlfriend pointed out like high booth stalls so there's no awkward eye contact with the person in the next booth A restaurant isn't just the food, it's the experience. Ate lunch there then tonight took our 18 year old daughter there for dinner with us later tonight had a waitress that was clueless when my husband wanted the same meal he had for lunch she bought something totally different I said I would eat it he then showed another server what he wanted this first waitress came to our table and yelled at my husband and said maybe he drank to much at lunch?? 1st time here, with that said we weren't greeted. The WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS AWFUL!!!!!. Mostly definitely will NEVER EVER go back. Waiteress seemed very unhappy to be there and it showed!!! Taco was ok ( I was hungry) the Chile Relleno was the WORST I've had, took a small bite and left it alone. It wasn't dipped in egg batter, it didn't have the cheese it's supposed have, and the sauce was crushed tomatoes from a can .....it was DISGUSTING!!. The service was TERRIBLE, never came back, when I went to pay wasn't asked how "everything " was. No thank you, the wait staff definitely NEEDS people skills. I have been to this restaurant a few times and have never had bad service. The chips have been warm and the salsa is delicious and flavourful. I have eaten quite a few dishes and I especially enjoy the Burrito Grande, a huge 12" burrito! I have heard a few complaints about service and it has never been really busy when I've dined in, but I have no complaints! Will continue to visit for lunch or dinner when I have a chance. read more

Went there last night with family and friends. Service was great. Food came out hot. Food was terrible. Two people ordered the same item. Just looked at each other. Food didn't look or taste like what they ordered. Ordered guacamole and there was so much lemon juice in it that you could only taste lemon . It ruined it. Will not go back. read more

A very disappointing first visit. I ordered the Burrito Colorado with pork. The pork was dry, tough and charred. It was like tiny charcoal briquettes mixed in with chewy meat. The refried beans and rice were bland. The salsa was the best part of the meal. It was very tasty. read more
