Ricas papa bravas ambiente de pueblo muy concurrido comida tradicional que no pretende ser nada elegante pero si muy rica

If you want to go some 30-40 years back in time and eat some home cooked meal it will probably tickle the spot. The atmosphere is too authentic but it's a man's cave and with the beer it will look bright enough. And the Bravas? I wouldn't come here just for those.

If you're looking for something local & sinful, this place is it. The spuds are golden fried to perfection. However, the accompanying garlic sauce is the hero of the dish that leaves a lingering taste in your mouth for hours on end. Great place to people watch - the old timers behind the counter pulling San Miguel and the endless stream of diners coming through the door.

Bravas are the best in Barcelona! The spicy aoli builds up to the end. Quick service and very nice people!

Best patatas bravas ever! Love the atmosphere. Croquettas are not great and empanadas are nice. Very cheap!

They are known for their Bravas, I would also order the crocketas (croquettes) and bañuelos de backalau.

Oh my goodness this is so good. If I ever go to Barcelona again I would come here…read more Must get: Steak with foie gras on bread 8/10: sooo decadent and luxurious. It's abt 8 euros a piece. Very flavorful and fast experience. Oxtail and mashed potatoes 10/10: the oxtail meet is so tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes pair so well with the oxtail. Mushroom, steak, and egg yolk 9/10: soo flavorful and balance of veggies and protein. Amazing textures and flavors. Sparkling sangria: 8/10 I don't normally live the taste of alcohol but this was great. Not tooooo strong and if tastes pretty good if you mix it with the orange juice. Fresh orange juice: 10/10 so tangy and delicious. I can't recommend it enough. Patatas bravas: 9/10 solid no complaints! Dessert Tapas: - bread dessert (Tarija): 11/10 amazing dessert that is creamy, cameralized, and has a mochi like texture. This fried chewy dessert is not too sweet and such an affordable price. - coconut pudding 9/10 solid and refreshing if you like flan - bread, chocolate oil, salt 7/10: I live the complex flavors. The chocolate mousse was light and the bread to mousse ratio was perfect. It's a smaller dessert tho I wouldn't recommend it if ur sharing. Service: amazing! Staff I'm everywhere so it was very easy to order more food. Also we were sitting buy the area where they made dessert and they allowed me to record them making it!! Comfortable ambiance great for date night or casual meals!!!

Everything was delicious although I highly recommend the mussels and prawns. My husband was impressed by the steak and my mom would say the chicken fingers are a must get. Also carry popular with kids in your group. The restaurant is small so go early if you're dining with kids and need to be able to leave in a timely manner. Service was wonderful. Wine and beer were great accompaniments to our dinner. Overall a great dinner experience, I would certainly come again.

Honestly, I think we could have easily spent the day in this neighborhood shopping and eating. La Bicocleta caught us after a long 2 hours at Parc Geull and not enough fortification. We were starving! Staff was lovely and kind. The waitress even fixed the chalkboard WiFi password after we couldn't read it (she couldn't either). Hubby had a homey bowl of beef and mushrooms with gravy - said the beef and mushrooms were cooked perfectly. Me - the veg - had veggie/ kimchi dumplings - delish, and Gorgonzola/ pear fondue - rich but great - we were still a bit hungry so we split a tofu/ mushroom curry. So much fish sauce I couldn't get past it - pretty sure it was labeled as vegan. Fish sauce makes that a no. Overall sweet staff, fun place. I'd go back but I'd ask more questions .
