We also shared an empanada (there were 2) from the happy hour menu. The bar was lively, but once happy hour was over, we had made reservations to sit at a table in the attached dining room (the restaurant is small but there is a large outdoor patio). We started with the tortilla soup which could have used more cilantro, lime, and seasoning. The flavor was lacking. The same was true for the tiny bowl of ceviche I had as an entree for $18. It needed more cilantro, lime, and seasoning. Overall, that was the theme. More flavor, please. The dining room started to get loud, so fortunately we were finished. Next time, we'll just stay for happy hour.

Well besides my partner who doesn't drink during Ramadan so it was spirit-free for him. He tried the tropical avocado Fresca and the prickly pear lemonade. Yumm!! I'm normally a Cadillac Margarita girl as long as it's 100% blue agave and no box mix I'm good to go. I was a sucker for the Aztec Old Fashioned though and it was a great choice. Tuna tacos to die for. Overflowing with tuna. All the other tacos I tried I loved and pour me some of that hot salsa please. Staff was great and friendly. Happy to be there!

But Senorita's is a family-run taqueria that offers so much more than those wonderful things. Before it was Senorita's I enjoyed the space when it was El Limon and when they moved into a bigger space with better outdoor seating, it made sense that another local neighborhood-style taqueria was moving in. And all the good things I heard about the Havertown location of Senorita's had me especially looking forward to this one. The Quesa Birria tacos were so majestic and juicy that I would have bathed in a tub of the birria consomme if I could, and the meat was especially juicy and tender! For my second visit, I went with my go-to order of shrimp enchiladas with mole, and theirs might just be the best mole that I've ever had! But with fajitas, burritos, ALL THE TACOS, and then some there's plenty of options to enjoy! For beverages, non-imbibers will enjoy fresh horchata and all the Jarritos. Meanwhile, imbibers will enjoy a decent margarita and a couple of other cocktails. But the best offering is the fact that they brew their own pale ale and refreshing lime cerveza for the win!

I always felt taco spots and Mexican restaurants are kind of underwhelming in the northeast, so I was skeptical initially. When it comes to ethnic food options, I take it as a good sign when I see less common items on the menu (like the squash blossom here). Colorful and flavorful would be how I describe the decor and the food. What I ate: Tacos De Asada (3) - Grilled steak, Cilantro, Radish, Cooked Scallion, & Salsa (the brown salsa is indescribably delicious. It has a smoky, spicy flare) I usually eat steak medium and didn't ask for it to be prepared that way, so it was well done and not to my liking. However, it was very tasty. Al Pastor Buritto - Spicy Marinated Pork w/Pineapple, Flour Tortilla, Lettuce, Pico de Gallo, Refried Beans, Rice, Sour Cream & Cheese. I'm smiling as I write this because this was the highlight! I was instantly punched in the taste buds, in a fantastic way lol. I texted a friend that lives in Drexel Hill while I was eating and said if he hadn't been to El Buen Sazon he had to go. Not only does he order from them once a month, he said he told me about them awhile ago. Lol I guess things truly happen when they're supposed to. Great service, great food, BYOB, street parking out front and there's a parking lot entrance on the block. I highly recommend you visit!!!

The decor was so fun and detailed, you could tell each piece told a story. They had a full bar. A few slot machines or games in the back. Two huge TVs on the wall The sounds of Mexican music playing throughout. My server came right over to take my order. I ordered the birras tacos and the guacamole & chips, and a Mexican coke. The guac & chips came first, I could tell the chips were homemade and fried. The guacamole was very creamy. I like mines a little chunky but it was fresh and delicious. The tacos arrived. I've never had birras outside of my home. The flavor profile was mild and confirmed I'd been making them correctly. The consommé good mild also and a little oily on top. Everything was fresh. Next time I'll try the birria Ramen. Now let's talk about these prices! Of course the things I wanted was not on the lunch menu. They are pricey. That bill can add up quick if you're trying different things. My lunch came to about $40 . I didn't get a lot, seems like everything is à la cart. I'm gonna give them 4 stars only because of pricing .. I feel like the tacos should have came with a side of rice or beans. My waiter was good very attentive. Definitely a place that probably jumping on a fri or Sat night.

Our experience at this location was unacceptable from beginning to end, with serious concerns about…read moreboth the quality of service and how we were treated. Although we were seated immediately, we were initially placed at a small table with a broken leg--meanwhile, couples who arrived after us were seated at larger four-person tables. When we asked to move, we were relocated to another small patio table next to a shattered window pane, with broken glass still on the ground beneath the table. The fact that customers were being seated in either of these areas raises basic questions about management, safety, and attention to detail. The service was equally poor. We waited about 15 minutes before our server acknowledged us and took our drink order, then another 10 minutes before our beverages arrived. We ordered guacamole and birria empanadas. The guacamole arrived without chips, and the empanadas were soggy. After waiting approximately 25 additional minutes for our entrées, our server finally returned to tell us that our order had never been entered. At that point, we had no confidence the situation would improve, so we asked for the check and left. Despite this experience, we were charged approximately $50 for two appetizers, one mocktail, and a lemonade. What made the experience particularly troubling was watching another couple get seated at the same broken table we had just left and receive their entrées while we were still waiting for our appetizers. As a Black couple, we also could not ignore the fact that the couples around us who appeared to receive larger tables and substantially faster, more attentive service were White. We cannot speak to anyone's intentions, but the disparity in how we were treated was noticeable enough that it would be dishonest not to mention it. This was not simply a case of a busy restaurant or a server having an off night. Between seating customers at damaged and potentially unsafe tables, leaving broken glass beneath a dining area, extremely slow and disorganized service, poorly executed food, and completely failing to submit our entrée order, this reflected a serious breakdown in basic hospitality and management oversight. We left feeling disrespected and demeaned, not welcomed as paying customers. Management should take a serious look at its service standards and whether all guests receive the same level of attention and respect. No customer should pay premium restaurant prices to be treated this poorly.

The first time I walked into the restaurant to order takeout - I ordered fish tacos and loaded nachos with chicken... The cashier was pleasant and helpful... I paid for my food then sat and waited for what seemed like 5 mins, I think, but definitely not more than 10 minutes... When I opened my food and hubby opened his, we were pleased with the presentation AND the taste matched! I didn't try his fish tacos but he did comment on how good they were (and he ordered them on our second visit); my loaded nachos were amazing and what I loved most is that while there are a lot of fixings on the nachos, they did not get soggy - it was the perfect amount of fixings and the flavor was perfection! And my appetite was satiated after...The chicken was thinly sliced but not too thin, all of the ingredients married together for an excellent fiesta of goodness! I was highly satisfied. The second time that I ordered from here hubby ordered fish tacos (again) and I had chicken tacos and a side order of tortilla chips and salsa. Everything tasted fresh and delicious again! This may be my new fave "go to" when I'm undecided on what to eat. I can't speak to dining in as both times I had take out however, from what I experienced when I did walk in, the atmosphere was upbeat and relaxed and the restaurant appeared clean from what I saw.
