I wish I could have given more stars, but if I'm being honest the pastor tacos were very bland and lacked flavor. With the lime juice and guacamole it helped the flavor but I ended up forcing myself to eat it. The first time we came in there was no one around so we kept walking around and then circled back where we were then greeted and seated. The taco plate comes with four tacos but you can only choose one protein. Out of the five or six they had listed they only had pibil and pastor-- I asked for two pibil and two pastor and I was told I could only get one choice-- I think I made the wrong choice. The mango and cardamom ice cream was delicious! The restaurant is beautiful.

My husband and I visited this place for lunch and I must say we had the best vegetarian food. The place looks lovely and has simple vibes. We had falafel and stuffed chilli( poblano), it tastes amazing. We also had plunch juice and mango lassi, it was so good that we also did some to go order for beetroot and orange juice. Marie Luce was our host and she is one lovely lady highly recommend this place

Super cute little restaurant. The food felt it was made with love! We had the Chile Relleno, Green Enchiladas and el Jugo Zazil. Everything was spectacularly delicious!!

stuffed poblano pepper with rice and vegetables and a mushroom burger with potatoes.

This hidden gem in the backstreets of Tulum is worth the adventure. The menu was full of local favorites not commonly found elsewhere. Though the portions, ingredients, and presentation are reminiscent of a fancy restaurant, the home style taste was especially unique. The brownie for dessert is a must!

Falafel in the back & the champiburgur in the front - both really good!

There's so many amazing vegetarian options! It was so hard for me to choose one. I had the champiburgur and the lol ha smoothie... omg SO good! The lol ha smoothie was amazing!! So refreshing and has a slight taste of cinnamon. The champiburgur was SO good! Very flavorful and I loved how it came with chipotle sauce. If you're not a fan of mushrooms (which is me) you might not like it... there's mushrooms in the patty but you can pull them out. They also provide you chips and salsa which was very delicious! The staff are all very friendly! I definitely recommend coming here! The food, staff, and menu options are fantastically delicious! I will definitely be coming back to try more dishes!!

Its a pretty good place to slow down your meat routine. I am personally one of them. I have tried their house salad with a sauce taste like mango, and also the dish of the day, "meat" ball with a pretty good quality. I would definitely come back

Went to this vegetarian/vegan spot with a bunch of meat eaters and everyone loved the food! We ordered the mushroom burger, enchiladas verdes, quesadilla, tacos, and a few other items and were very impressed with how fresh and flavorful everything was! The sauces are unique and yummy, and the portions are perfect. The staff was extremely friendly and recommended the hibiscus tea to us which was delightful. They brought out some extra chili salsas for us that were super delicious. They were also very helpful in giving us some tips and advice on what to do in town for the week. Despite not ordering any of our usual meat dishes, we were all extremely happy and full with everything we ordered. We went to the smaller restaurant and loved how cozy and calm the atmosphere was. Between 4 people for a hearty meal we payed about $12 each, so very affordable. Definitely recommend this place to anyone! You'd be missing out if you didn't visit while in Tulum!

Easily my favorite restaurant in Tulum. I got the stuffed poblano dish with rice and the flavors were so complimentary and savory that I couldn't help but clean the plate. We also ordered the guacamole maya which I have to say is the best guacamole I've ever had. Having grown up in Los Angeles, I don't take this statement lightly at all. It was served with a light garlic sauce and a verde habanero sauce. Both were perfect and were heavily applied to everything I ate, not because they needed it, but because I am obsessed with sauces. The service was friendly and attentive and it was fun to watch the chef prepare the food in the open kitchen.

My favorite NatGeo image and amazing decor

As soon as you walk into place, you know it's going to be a special experience. You don't find too many vegetarian/pescatarian restaurants in small towns in Mexico. The decor is creative, simple, and in good taste. Though it's an on the curb of a busy highway, it was immaculate in terms of cleanliness. The music was very diverse; I think they played African-French cumbia. Hipsters and hippies will love this place. The food was fresh and delicious! My personal favorite were the chips served with an exquisite habanero salsa, the most amazing humus, and a sweet fruit-pulp salsa. Our waiter, a French Mexican and some other stuff was super friendly and helpful. We will be back when we come back to Tulum.

Delicious, filling, healthy food. My husband had the club sandwich and I ate the falafel with with a green juice. This little restaurant exceeded our expectations.

Relaxing little restaurant. I ordered a smoothie and it was delicious. My boyfriend got a mojito and it was also fantastic. The atmosphere is very relaxing since they have tons of plants and were playing classical music. Loved this cute place.

The food is great and very healthy and the servers are all very kind and accommodating! I highly recommend coming here. I had the Chile relleno and iced coffee. The prices are very reasonable. Can't wait to come back.

One of the best vegetarian/vegan places in Tulum. We were extremely impressed with food. We enjoyed eating Guacamole and Taco's.

I will admit though, my American palate is accustomed to food heavy-handed with salt and sugar and this was the first place we tried off the resort. There is no denying how fresh everything was! If you're in Tulum, I do think it's worth stopping by and checking out this place. If for nothing else, the ambience and the service. They are some of the nicest people we met in Mexico and everything presented was beautiful. I mean look at the art work for that french toast! Yes, that's french toast under that beautiful strawberry design. The mushroom quiche was good, but needed a little more flavor including salt. Like I said, probably just my taste buds. The coffee fell a little flat for me. I ordered an iced latte. My husband had a flat white and liked his for the most part. I love that they have live musicians stop by - there was a flute player and a guitar player in the short hour we were there and both were so good. Overall, the place has a cute vibe and is a great spot to chill and have some food and coffee.

I'm not even vegan, but I was really excited to come to this place because I really wanted to try some of their tamales or a tamal (saving stomach room because I had so many places I wanted to eat at). The people here couldn't have been any sweeter and I love that when you walk through the restaurant to get to the beautiful backyard dining area, you're pretty much walking through the kitchen and seeing that the food looks like it's homemade and fresh. To have a complete meal where I felt like I was eating clean, I ordered the green juice along with my papadzul tamal. The description for this tamal was - traditional pre-Hispanic Mayan salsa made with roasted pumpkin seeds, amaranth, tomato, and habanero. Now I had a lot of tamales in my time, but I wanted to try something that felt really local and this sounded perfect to me. They brought out my food with some sauces on the side - a tomato salsa that was not spicy, some pickled onions with habanero, and some habanero smoke infused olive oil. I really loved the food here specially with that style of tamal wrapped in banana leaf. And sitting in such a beautiful setting as well. I can't recommend this place enough and I would love to come back and try some of their other tamales.
