During that time, communication was extremely inconsistent. We were repeatedly told from the event contact, LeeAnn, that we would receive a phone call or a contract "tomorrow," but those promises were never followed through on. We reached out multiple times by text, phone, email, and even left a message with the receptionist. Most of our attempts went unanswered, and when we did receive a response, it was typically just one brief text saying the contract would be sent, but it never arrived. What has been the most frustrating part is that we stopped actively searching for other venues because we were told our date was being reserved. After more than three weeks without a contract or any meaningful communication, we've lost valuable time during a period when wedding venues book quickly. I completely understand that businesses get busy, and if our date was no longer available or if there were another issue, I would have appreciated an honest conversation. What was difficult was being repeatedly told to expect the next step and then hearing nothing. Thankfully, everything worked out in the end. We found another venue, Nature's Pointe, and from our very first interaction, the communication and professionalism were everything we had hoped for. Their team made us feel valued, answered our questions promptly, and made the booking process seamless. While I'm genuinely grateful that we ultimately found the perfect place for our wedding, I wish we hadn't lost three weeks waiting for communication that never came.

I saw they were celebrating 100 years in ABQ and took advantage of a phenomenal offer they had for the 100 year celebration. Win-win. It's a great location. Staff was very welcoming upon arrival. The lobby was quaint and I received a nice history lesson that this hotel actually used to be a hospital. I arrived 10 minutes before the Apothecary opened & before happy hour. I really appreciated that you need a hotel keycard to access the hotel room floors but you can go directly to the Apothecary. Also, you can use stairs between the hotel floors but not between the first floor to the other floors. Except, of course for fire/emergency purposes. I will review the Apothecary separately. My stay here was very comfortable. It was quiet. I felt safe. I didn't have any concerns while I was here which was great as a single woman staying here & knowing the crime rate in ABQ. My Jeep was also secured over night. No issues or concerns. The bath products were CO Bigelow lavender & peppermint. Heavenly combo. The body lotion was THICK!!! Oh my gosh, it felt great. The soap was also wonderful & didn't leave a film, which I didn't expect that it would given the quality from this company. The shower in the room was nice & spacious. The water pressure was really nice & the temperature was HOT & perfect. I mean, if you, as a woman, don't get out of the shower pink, did you really even shower? Lol. The robe in the bathroom was great! I almost never put on the robes but something about this called out to me & I was compelled to put it on. It delivered!! So comfy & so soft. There was a second one tucked away in the closet. The bed was comfortable the floor and space was quiet. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it.

Time to update my review after 10.5 years. =O…read more Ok, so about a week ago, they changed the pet policy to no longer allow cats. We had booked our reservation with 2 cats before the policy change was made, so they graciously accommodated my 2 cats who came to visit, Duncan and Pippin. Apparently, cats were causing too much damage. =( I made sure that my cats were watched and behaved, and if we weren't in the room, they were secured with food and water. They were good boys for being the last two cats to stay here. On to the hotel. I enjoyed my stay here once again. The room was comfortable. It is convenient to the airport and downtown. There is free parking, and it's right off the Big I, so it's easy to get around town. The breakfast wasn't as good as I remembered. They had Bigelow tea, and i forgot to bring my own, so i didn't drink tea (I don't like Bigelow). But the other selections at breakfast were just fine. Fresh fruit, instant oatmeal, pastries, fritattas, yogurt. The staff were all so friendly. They helped with luggage. They asked about the cats and apologized about the policy change. We appreciated all the staff.

Too much math when I ask the front desk how many parking places are reserved for guests. The answer is 6 parking places. How many rooms does the motel have? 22 rooms. Too much exercise when I have to walk to the front desk to ask why the wi-fi instructions on my check-in instructions aren't working. The answer is... there's another wi-fi network, which we don't tell our guests about until they complain about the listed solution not working. Too much exercise when I have to carry my luggage from the car to the room over multiple trips because there are no luggage carts. There's not even a lowered curb for roller bags. Hoist away. Too much apologizing by employees and not enough solutions. "I'm sorry." What are you going to do to fix it? Confused look. Can you think of a way to fix having the wrong wi-fi instructions for all guests. Confused look. What if you modified the instructions to be accurate? "I can ask them to fix it, but I don't know if they will." Too much exposure. I'm all for increasing visibility, but it is ridiculous to have all motel suite rooms with glass doors and inadequate privacy coverings. Even with the privacy shade fully extended anyone can walk up to a suite and look directly inside the room. Maybe the front desk would say they can only see through a few inches worth. To which I would ask, what hotel have you ever stayed at, which allows anyone on property to look inside a guest's room without permission and see more than 0 inches worth of the inside? (See attached picture Too much style. No substance. I'm too old. I remember when things were good. We don't have to stay at places that don't value their customers. Want to help increase internet bandwidth for other guests? Don't stay here. Want to increase parking for other guests? Don't stay here. Want to decrease voyeurism? Don't stay here.
