My husband had a beard trim with hot towel shave and enjoyed the experience with Leslie a lot. His beard looked great (far less scraggly!) after. I had a scalp massage (super relaxing!) and hair cut with Aryn. It's hard to trust someone the first time, especially with wavy hair, but she did a great job and really listened to what I wanted. She was also very engaging and easy to talk to. As an aside, their hand painted walls are gorgeous! Wonderful experience, we would definitely come back.

It's deceiving beautiful on the inside (the outside building is just a ho-hum plaza). Kalin did my cut and was very friendly and understood what I wanted....and for the first time ever...kid you not...I didn't feel the need to go home and re-do my hair after I left...and I didn't get raked with additional costs for blow-drying it (who pays for a cut then gets told it doesn't include drying...it's like saying a shampoo doesn't include the rinse). Years ago I had a bad experience with an esthetician who accidentally injected more Botox units than I wanted and I had zero movement in my forehead and drooping in one eye for 2 months. I was nervous to make this decision. I read Yelp reviews about Julie and LaJolie and scheduled an appointment. Julie listened intently to my history with Botox treatments, what my goals were- a small amount of movement, not totally frozen- and gave professional feedback with her suggestions. I am happier with the Botox treatment from Julie than my previous esthetician! I didn't expect to have found someone even better. I am just delighted, Julie is very skilled and pays close attention.
