Not sure why all my photos did not attach to this review.... but I wanted to add that, besides all the great things I mentioned about Elbe Market, the drive is also nice and happy I got a great close up view of Mount Rainier during our drive out of Elbe WA. Enjoy ya'll !! Hopefully the photos will attach to my updated review.

The little town of Elbe is so charming and cute - as a native Texan it immediately reminded me of some of our charming small towns. It's a quick drive-through, but on my way to Mt. Rainier my mom and I spotted this little country store in Elbe and saw a sign advertising coffee and snacks etc. We decided to come back when returning to Tacoma from Mt. Rainier and this little shop didn't disappoint! It's like a big gift shop, and they have a coffee bar with lots of options. I got a lavender London fog, and my mom got a mocha breve with almond and coconut. I think they were both 16 oz and it cost $14.50 incl tax and tip? So not too bad. They also had candy and drinks (ie road trip food), and again little Knick knack gifts and pretty handmade things. They had some free info brochures too. They did have a single bathroom stall in the back, it was clean and thankfully I didn't have to wait in any line. There was good foot traffic in and out of this place though so be mindful. And they do a rewards punch card, so if you go to Rainier often, get your stamps in and get a free coffee!

So excited to find this little gem from our way out of paradise, mt reinier. This is a lovely little shop selling ice cream, coffee, snacks, toys and more. Love the decor inside and out. We bought some ice cream and get to use their washroom which is super clean.

I was not expecting to have a great coffee here but well..it was GREAT! I also love that they even have hemp milk as an option, that's not common. I visited the next day and tried a lavender vanilla latte , that one I did not care for but the classic latte is the way to go!

My husband and I stopped by here to check it out. It's so cute and has everything you'd need. Awesome ice cream, coffee, clothing, drinks, snacks etc. the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating as well. I got a cup of huckleberry ice cream and it was the best ice cream I've ever had! If you're ever in Elbe, you have to stop here for some ice cream of coffee. Also, I think they changed their name to "Elbe Market"

Inside of store with my iced white chocolate mocha

My family and I stopped by this place because I was craving an iced coffee after a day at Mt Rainier. I ordered an iced white chocolate mocha. The staff greeted us when we came in, told us about their ice cream selection as well as coffee/espresso selection. The staff made my drink rather quickly and it was great! The store had a variety of decors and souvenirs true to the area. If you're on the way to Mt Rainier definitely check this place out!

We needed a pick-me-up on our road trip and this was the perfect place to stop! We got lavender & honey latte and blackberry almond latte, which were both SO GOOOD! Definitely will come back here again. They have some cool extras such as ice cream and various souvenirs. Their customer service was great as well!

It's like they looked at all the successful ice cream shops with the ice cream on display up front and said, let's do the exact opposite. Let's push the ice cream up against the back wall out of sight and then have customers guess what it looks like. They can choose whatever flavors we make up on the chalk board. Eye catching visuals don't matter On top of that, they have customers come in through one door on the side and then exit through a sliding glass door which has people standing in front of it because there is no where else to wait. Truly a bizarre and awkward execution all around which seems to make their poor employees easily flustered when things get busy. Their ice cream isn't worth mentioning really. We all found it flavorless and icy. We won't be giving them a third chance.

It's close to public parking that can get busy but we didn't have much trouble finding a place to park. I loved the ice cream flavor options available and of course, the premise of house-made ice cream. We each tried our own individual flavors and cones and we did enjoy most of them. Flavor wise this ice cream is there and is what most would seek out. It's there, it's bold and it's good. Where their ice cream missed for me was in the actual texture and creaminess. I found ice chunks in my mocha ice cream and that was a big disappointment to me. I want my ice cream to be ultra creamy and smooth not chunky and hard. It was a bit of a disappointment especially given the high price point.

I liked that we got the option to choose between 3 different levels of chill, and how each represented a different texture and cream consistency. There are 12 preset options for you to choose from, or you can create your own flavor combinations. The sky is the limit! The staff were very kind in explaining to us the differences in the chill factors and patiently waited for us to choose our combination. I was so excited by the show I forgot to take a photo of the ice cream before we ate it all. One normal portion is pretty large; personally I found it was a great item to split with another person. There is a large parking lot in front of the shop that's free and there is ample, clean seating at the shop.

I tried them in the past apparently because I have photos associated to that visit (even bought a dozen). I obviously didn't remember until I started writing this review. First the location is pretty easy to reach. Small strip mall store front off Portland Ave. I walked in and there were two people ahead of me but no seating and hardly room to view the selection. There is a plastic COVID screen still up and pictures of people who have stolen from them. The selection of donuts is decent and apparently on the weekends there are speciality fritters. The owner operators are kind and so helpful (high praises!). I ordered one blueberry donut and one banana fritter. Both appeared to be well cooked and scrumptious. However, each of the donuts were over fried and tasted like old grease. The blueberry cake was full of blueberries but no real blueberry taste. The fritter was soaked in grease and no banana flavor. Sadly this is not on my list to try again.
