They seem to have a wide selection of children books based on level of readiness. Also I'm hoping we can partake story time activity one of these weekday mornings. This library even has an upstairs where there are magazines, cook books and the like. I like that they have private rooms for meetings or study groups and seats with a little more privacy. They have a bulletin board on all upcoming events. And online/ their website they have more resources. I want sure if I could rent magazines but there was plenty staff around. When it's time to check out there's a kiosk that prints out the reciept for you. We will for sure be back to participate in story time

The website says book donations are encouraged, but unfortunately, we've found the staff to be quite unwelcoming when we've tried to donate books. They often seem reluctant to accept the books we bring in, which has been very different from our experiences at other Douglas County libraries, where the staff have been appreciative and helpful. Unfortunately, this has gone beyond just our experience with donating books, and it's become a pattern that has left us feeling unwelcome. Because of that, we'll continue driving to a farther library where we feel more comfortable.

It has a refreshed and updated feel on the inside. There was a group of senior citizens playing games in the main area. And there are quite a few private education and meeting rooms. They have games, puzzles, a large chess/checkers set, connect4, etc. they don't have a huge selection of books for kids or adults, but it's a wonderful place to curl up and read. They have private study rooms as well as very clean bathrooms.

I am writing to share a very concerning experience my son and his grandfather had during Story Time…read moreyesterday. From the moment they arrived, they felt they were treated differently than the other families in attendance. My son was not allowed to have any of the toys that other children were using. Later, when stamps were handed out to the children, every child received one except for my son. The librarian looked him up and down and intentionally moved on without giving him a stamp. My father-in-law also tried asking a few questions about Story Time, but instead of receiving help, he said the librarian raised her voice at both him and my young son. Throughout the program, she appeared to engage warmly with the other children while largely ignoring my son. This was incredibly hurtful for our family. Story Time should be a welcoming and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and treated with kindness. No child should leave feeling excluded. I hope you will look into this matter and ensure that all families are treated with respect and fairness. Thank you for taking the time to hear our concerns, and I would appreciate hearing what steps will be taken to address this situation.

We love coming here because there's always something to do. They have read aloud time for the little ones, they offer a quiet area where you can study and also have a gaming room too. Of course my kids were excited and wanted to go in but keep in mind that there's certain times permitted. Staff are always so helpful. From the kids area, teens and upstairs at the customer service table, they're available to lend a helping hand. A bonus is that they offer a charging station for cell phones outside their building. I found a nice spot to setup and complete my reports and other business matters. The first floor has the kids section and the second floor is for people that want to read, do homework, or set up their laptops for work. As some people collect visits to coffee shops and the like, I collect visits to libraries, and this place was a good stop.
