I found lots of items that I buy at the farmers market and it's good know I can find them here during the winter. For the bad, my mom and I went in. The young lady at the counter followed us mercilessly. Not just nearby or in the same section of the store, but right next to us at all times. It felt as though we were thieves just waiting to be caught. I understand watching overall, but it was extremely uncomfortable and difficult to shop. What sealed the deal for us was there were 20% signs all over the honey side of the store. And when we asked a question about a lotion we wanted to buy, she said sorry the sale was over. Rather than honor the sale and take the signs down, she did not honor it. We decided to not to purchase because it felt wrong that it was not honored. Prices here are extremely high, which I understand with hand made local items, but to not honor a discount that was clearly marked on top of that, was off putting. It's sad because it only harms the locals putting there items in the store.

Just south are some strips of businesses. Search for the karate studio and art academy, then take a left to go behind them and there's Beehive! I swear, they are trying to hide from someone, and even having visited two years ago, I still couldn't find 'em when I stopped by a few weeks back! Inside, it's an itsy lil' store offering wedges of their cheese by the pound and cheese curds. They also have a few varieties of excellent cheeses not made in house and local Creminelli salami, plus Chocolot candies. They carry a decent selection of Savannah Bee Company bath and body products, and a bit of their own branded merchandise. A variety of local stores sell Beehive Cheese, but it's still fun to stop here as you have access to all their goodies, most importantly, a variety of dreamy cheese curds. I just tried Fully Loaded for the first time: a delightful cheese fortified with High West's Double Rye Whiskey, and wow! That is a new favorite (and I truly adore all their cheeses). It's a little bit sweet, with such an intriguing flavor, and everyone I shared it with remarked that it was especially delicious. Chocolot (based in Ogden!) makes some excellent and beautiful artisan truffles. At Beehive, they also had some of their toffee, peppermint bark, and chocolate covered cinnamon bears. I really adore this brand, and it can be difficult to track down, so make sure to snatch up a box (chocolates are $2 a piece, available either as a set of three of six). The truffles vary in each package, and are not marked, but you can find a flavor key on their website: https://chocolot.com/pages/flavors. 4 stars for the shop, which could use a little excitement as it's a tad utilitarian, but 5 strong stars for their most exceptional cheese! The açaí bowl is a great size, 24 oz, and I didn't think I would be able to finish it, but I did! This place also serves different juices, but I didn't try any of those today. It's easy to miss this place, it's in a little strip mall and not visible from the road, so I feel like you would need to know it's there before going. They do have outdoor seating, which would be nice for a date night or when the weather is nice. There was a wide variety of vendors, from honey, to fresh meat, to bread, to plants for gardening and all sorts of clothing, jewelry, pet treats, and art. There's also activities and event booths for the outdoorsy community, and LOADS of food trucks. You truly can find anything here and it's reasonably priced. I went a bit early (~8am) and it was pretty busy already. I just parked for free up the street and had no issues walking to the market. There was free water offered and plenty of places to sit in the shade if you needed. Theres live music up and down the street. Lots of people bring their dogs! I really loved this market. I cant wait to come back, the shops that line the street looked interesting and I want to pop into a few next time.
