    I love this store, it's less then a mile from my house and it's easy to get in and out of. They have an excellent bakery too!

I expected a much higher level of care and accountability from a professional auto center. 1. Walmart's Auto Center in Centerville Worked on My Spare Tire on 07.22.2025 - I paid for a TPMS install on the spare. - They removed and reinstalled the spare as part of the service(after I removed my locked bike rack from the tow hitch in their parking lot for access purposes) 2. They Reinstalled It - Surveillance video appears to show the techs reinstalling the spare. - The techs did not appear to do a thorough visual inspection to make sure the retention plate was seated properly(contested by manager during my last visit) 3. The Tire Fell Off Later - The spare was missing nine days later. - I had to replace a small unrelated suspension link in my friends driveway the following week when I noticed my spare tire was missing - I didn't touch the spare at any point after the time of service and it is impossible for anyone to lower/remove the spare without removing a key-locked bike rack and opening the tailgate to access the winch cable lowering mechanism - There are no broken retention brackets, winch cables, or latches so it could not have occured due to a hardware failure. 4. The Only Plausible Explanation is that the Spare was Installed Incorrectly - The most logical and supportable conclusion is negligent installation (improper seating of the retention plate and "claw" at some point during cable winching process) - After stopping by Walmart to inquire more about the surveillance video, I inspected the retention bracket, cable and cable housing and then took measurements of the cable length and retention plate/spring. - I then prepared detailed illustrations of the aftermarket wheel/tire measurements as well as the cable and retention plate including the retention plate spring. - Returning again to Walmart to present the illustrations and measurements I had prepared to Tyson the manager. - I explained the only plausible scenario was an incorrectly installed spare as demonstrated in the illustrations . - I asked him if I could send him a digital copy of the illustrations and photographed measurements to submit a claim with Walmart. - The manager Tyson declined to submit a claim on my behalf so I took my Illustration and photographs and left. 5. The Resulting Financial Loss - This Spare was a brand new aftermarket $289 BF Goodrich All-Terrain Tire mounted on a $329 17" Method Wheel that was installed under the car as spare three years prior and remained in place until the time of this Walmart service - That's a ~$600 spare tire missing plus ~$50 of gas to make multiple trips back to Walmart's Centerville location to try and sort things out with Walmart's auto center manager. 6. Not My First Experience with Poor Service at That Walmart Autocenter - I also recently brought a Ford Explorer to this same Walmart Auto Center in Centerville to get two new tires installed - The one of the remaining tires was noticeably low when I brought the car in so I asked them to top off the tire pressure - They assured me they would check and top off all four tires as part of the service. - When they were finished installing the new tires I paid at the counter and then went outside to get the car and noticed the tire still looked low. - I talked to a tech at the open bay door and he graciously agreed to take a look - The tech said the tire was 15 psi below the suggested recommended amount and proceeded to top off the air pressure. While not a huge deal I am posting this because it's one of two services I had done on cars at this Walmart location that were sub-par. ** Illustrations and measurement photos available on my Google Reviews review.

The Meat department team is also Great..... ... EXCEPT for one old gray haired/gray bearded man. I worked with him today 12/27 only because nobody else was available. He is quite the opposite of the others. He clearly couldn't care less about quality and even suggested I go somewhere else. If they were all like that old man I would NEVER go back. He is soo lazy and always has an excuse why they can't do things certain ways and complains about any and every special request. And of course, he screwed up the cuts today and claimed he could not make the cuts requested. His excuse today was there's not enough staff present so he couldn't cut things the way I requested. He is soo LAZY! He needs to be taught how to be a meat cutter we're put him in the housekeeping department. He really shouldn't be around customers or food with his aptitude and behaviors. Furthermore, someone needs to suggest he wear a hairnet over that nasty beard!!! Maybe I've just been spoiled with the great service from the rest of the meat department and other teams! The bottom line is (if I have to work with that ornery gray haired lazy bugger I will never use the meat department again. If Harmons wants to have a custom meat department then someone needs to teach/coach him about customer Relations and more importantly teach him how to be a meat cutter. You can be sure I will be avoiding that department when that negative lazy a** is present!! To be quite honest, I am surprised his coworkers don't get on him for standing around doing nothing (especially after watching him tell his coworker why he couldn't make cuts). Sadly, I have to give Harmon's meat department a low-review today because of that person. I would recommend avoiding that meat department, go somewhere else when that lazy man is working because you won't get what you've requested, guaranteed
