I first heard about Beehive Cheese when my husband and I stumbled upon their booth at the Kendall-Jackson Tomato Festival a few years ago; the cheese was amazing and I bookmarked their Yelp page just in case we ever were in Utah. Fast forward to last week, we were in the area going to Salt Lake City and I made sure that my family stopped in to pick up some of the amazing cheese! We ended up sampling Tea Hive and Sea Hive; both were great but I wanted my Barely Buzzed! I got my BB, my husband picked out the Hatch Chile, my Dad got the Smoked Apple Walnut, and my Mom picked out the Promontory. We also bought some crackers from Marin County (which we laughed about since we live in Northern California). Everyone loved the cheese but I think Barely Buzzed won hands down with the group! All 4 cheeses lasted about 2-3 days between the four of us and I can't wait to get my hands on BB again (they just started selling it in my area!)

We only went for the cheese which is very good & unique. They have a new retail location that's nice.

Outstanding place if you want a different types of cheese. I am excited to go there to get stuff for Super Bowl Charcuterie Boards.

I especially love their Barely Buzzed (rubbed in espresso and lavender, yum!) and their Cajun, but really any of their cheese is heavenly.

What a cute place with lots of local goods including cheese, snacks, vinegars, bottled milk (old school... I loved getting my milk like this when I was younger), and ice cream! I wanted to buy some cheese, but it was so hot yesterday, I didn't want it to spoil before I got home. I went with some white peach balsamic vinegar and indulged in a scoop of Aggie Mint Ice Cream . It could have been a tad more minty, but still so yummy! I even got a cute cow sticker to put in my junk journal! I'll be getting cheese on my next trip to Midway, and will be prepared with a little cooler to secure the goods! Thanks for having all the cheese and jam samples to try, so I know what to get next time!

We stopped here on the way to the crater because everything we read said it was a must stop…read more Honestly, I don't really get the hype. The store is pretty small. They had a good selection of handmade cheeses, and the ice cream looked really good, but it wasn't homemade like we expected. Looking back, I think this place is probably more about the tour. We didn't do it, and I have a feeling that's where the experience really is. So if you're planning to stop, I'd recommend doing the tour. Otherwise, it's a quick stop, and I probably wouldn't go out of my way just for the store.

Incredible and impressive selection of specialty chocolate, crackers, pasta, truffle, tinned fish…read more Such nice employees who tried to help me find iberico ham chips ( only in small bags, not large) and candy. I had a cheese tasting at the farmers market and seeing the space they make the cheese was impressive. Cookie from Alaska, Olympia provisions from Oregon at same prices as Oregon was a surprise! The sandwiches are so so so good. Sadly my kid couldn't eat his but I enjoyed my half very very much. They are kind enough to adjust for nut allergies and cut in half and wrap separately so I could drop off for his camp. I can't remember the drink I got from the fridge but it was blood orange and perfect for a hot day. And the amazing chocolate chip cookie. Wow. Just the right Amt of salt I got pasta and truffles to enjoy at home

I knocked a star off for customer service after my second visit here. A solid 3.5 stars…read more On my second visit I couldn't remember what I ordered the first time I came. I knew it had farro on it, so I ordered the farro salad. When they called my name and I checked my salad, I noticed it was definitely not the same as the one I had ordered last time, so I approached the employee who was at the counter that called out orders. Female, short-light brown hair, wavy curls. I told her the last time I came there were lots of vegetables and she gave me this dumbfounded look and said, "that's a Greek salad", which I knew wasn't right either because a Greek salad doesn't have farro. I just asked if I could add the vegetables to my farro salad and she continued to look at me annoyed then looked behind her at who may have been the manager? She had long-dark brown hair just below her shoulders. Bangs and it was pulled back in a low ponytail. Fair skin and a great smile. The energy immediately shifted when she arrived and she happily offered to add "Greek vegetables" for me. Walked it out to me when she was done adding them. She alone helped salvage that second experience. Bravo. After I had time after work, I went over the menu more carefully and I found the salad I was so impressed with on my first visit. It's called SALAD TRIO. It's an offering of all 3 of their individual salads combined into one amazing salad. Farro, Greek, and Tuna atop an ample amount of Arugula and your choice of dressing. So good! Their sea salt chocolate chip cookies are also delicious. It's quite a spacious market. They have dining on one side where you can order their salads, sandwiches, and merch. The market is on another side that offers cheese, deli meats, oil/vinegar, and so much more. Lunch gets busy here, but it's well worth a visit.
